Is Captain Marvel any good?
Dude, she is like a goddamned can opener, with tons of ways to convert. Her trait lets you get free damage tacked on to even the smallest of hits. The whip is a great STFU option at midrange, and oh my god that jump arc is beautiful.
Sinestro is negative as fuck on a lot of his moves for a good reason.
I think it’s a little too early to tell with him. He does good damage and has a nice mixup game. His command throws are awesome, since you can combo off of them if you meter burn them.

Fireball “spam” is netting wins. If people keep dying to it, they’re smart for abusing it.

Except interactables are unblockable and can only be used “once” per match, are easily avoidable by backdashing, jumping, and using MBDCs.

I made a simple offhand comment - a factual observation as to why there are so many Deathstrokes online.

Deathstroke is very easy to win with against 90% of low level players online. His moves are easy to execute, easy to spam and require little skill to use and he will guarantee anyone with 5 minutes of practice a bunch of easy wins. That is why he is so popular online right now.
That’s it. A simple off-hand comment on why the servers are full of Deathstrokes.

You SRK clones really are worse than scrubs. You are so bitter, so full of ignorant bile and hatred you can’t even read what’s actually there without bursting into the same stupid sound-bites about scrubs like some Pavlovian mutant.

I really like cat woman’s power it seems pretty dynamic because, I feel like you wouldn’t want to sit on it like a weak chun li super in 3s. Maybe your opponent would have to play defensive, opening options for her. I’m not sure what the frame data is like, but at least you can use it to end your combos.

This game is fun i like Killer Frost
Made people salty IRL using Killer Frost on day 1, first time playing her, used her like a zoning character; netted wins, got called a spamming cheater, won some money matches after people said I couldn’t win without her (used Wonder Woman, who I practiced with in the demo).
Overall a good time.
A lot of back, forward moves become HCF instead (like Batman’s slide). I went back to MK notation.
Doomsday is still incredibly ass. Went from being one of my most hype characters, to the biggest let down. Whoever has the strategy guide I’d love to know what they have for him there.
I agree with the Deathstroke comments. Almost everybody I fight just spams bullets with him. Dunno if I can say that negatively though, it’s a legit strategy lol. To be honest, when I played some KotH last night, most matches degenerated into full screen fireball wars, with characters with fast projectiles winning. Saw a LOT of Joker’s being played like fucking Wesker.
Speaking of which, how often should I be shooting arrows with Green Arrow? The rest of his moves and combos seem…shitty.
I think today I am going to fuck with Raven (dat Ermac vibe), Black Adam (dat Bison stomp), and I would love to learn to not suck with Grundy.

AND I AM STILL POSITIVE: For some reason really quick QCB seems to come out as QCF. I can’t tell you the number of times I go to do batman’s horizontal grapple, and get the air one instead, and there is no fucking way I am messing up QCB and QCF. I am wondering if this is related to either negative edge or the SF/MK notations and commands.
You called something “cheap” and only scrubs label things “cheap”. The word has a negative connotation that should never be applied to legitimate tactics.
People of all levels of skill call things cheap on and off stream. I think you’re making a bigger deal out of what he said than necessary.
The moment that you call something cheap, or label any tactic as spaming you are showing your scrub colors to the world, specially if you consider that those cheap tactics of spaming moves are done by low level players.
