People should stop using the word random if they can’t even use it properly.
I won’t get into why randomness can be good in games because that’s outside the scope of this discussion.
**Interactables aren’t random. **They are fixed element of stages that just ask to expand on your knowledge of the game.
Not caring to learn how interactibles work is like not caring to learn how Hawkgirl works. If someone decides to choose an obscure character like Hawkgirl you are going to have to figure out that match-up on the fly. Each person could use Hawkgirl differently; but the tools she has don’t magically change even if used by the same person multiple times.
The same goes for these objects in the stages. A player may have more knowledge than you on how to use it but the properties of that object don’t change after they keep using it again and again.
Adapt or get bodied.
This isn’t Street Fighter 4 or Mortal Kombat 9 you are playing in spite of its aspirations and pedigree.
Take this with a grain of salt, but because of the voice cast list, it’s speculated that the rest of the DLC is Poison Ivy, Batgirl, and Scorpion(MK). That will be very disappointing if that’s true. If NRS wants their DLC to sell, they should be put characters that people have been going crazy over.
I don’t mind Poison Ivy and there seems to be a lot of people that want, but aside from maybe 4 or 5 people, nobody wants Batgirl. And while Scorpion may be a popular character in MK, I don’t see his inclusion here going over to well with a lot of people. Especially considering the hundreds of DC characters that could be put in instead.
Glad it worked out then! But yeah I’ve been seeing others say they are expecting theirs today from walmart, a few others getting it like the next day, in Hawaii ect.
It actually works out fairly well that I get the PSN version though. One of the like… 5 guys I ALWAYS play fighting games with can’t afford the game atm, well he can but considering his family situation atm its a dick move to spend money on a videogame when hes the main cashflow in the group. So I get to share it with a pretty good guy. The other plan before that was we would all just send him the money for it lol. FGC sticking together yo!
For all my Grundy minions that are having trouble with the inputs, please read:
You’ll want to do the inputs for the first command after he tosses you in the air but before he slams you into the ground.
The second one of each varies:
Power Chain: do the second command right before he slams your face into the ground. (qcb, power button)
Health Chain: do the second command after he does the first one arm slam. (u,u, power button)
Defense Chain: do the second command when he has you in the air by one hand. (u,d, power button)
Each chain has it’s own advantages but I suggest incorporating the HEALTH CHAIN into your BnB. It’s the easiest and it decreases damage taken.
I hope this helps you guys.
Try to listen out for the chime too. It lets you know if you’ve done it right.
Anybody having issues with the wrong special moves coming out while playing pad? It’s drivin me nuts. It’s likely an execution error on my part, but so sometimes I swear I do QCF and a back-forward move come out instead or vice versa. Even better when I QCF an get QCB. Maybe i should start using control pad on my controller instead of the stick. I’m on 360 btw
I been having problems with that. When I play Nightwing in staff stance I sometimes get the universal overhead when I want to do the Greyson Flying Kick
