This actually turned out to be a great source of comedy a couple days ago. We came across someone who was using Green Lantern’s yellow color… and for some reason the whole lobby latched onto the notion he was playing as the “YOLO Lantern.” This shouldn’t be hilarious, but you’d be surprised what’s funny at 4 in the morning.

Edit: Side note, I’ve been spending all-nighters with Injustice for a while, in addition to my other work. Running on very low sleep. If I say something stupid or incoherent in this thread, call me on it so I can clarify because I’m not entirely alert right now. My reactions to this so far have been a mix of “ungh ow my head” plus “worth it; game is fun”.

There was a surprisingly wide character variety in the streams I’ve seen thus far. Bane/Gundy/Quinn/Hal/Molestro/Flash/Nightwing/Joker/KF were the ones I remember from NYCFurby stream

This mostly matches my own experience, and I’m pleased by it. The first couple of days, everyone was picking Batman and playing on the Batcave. This made me really, really annoyed.

Since then however the character selection has opened up a LOT and I’ve been having a lot more fun. Currently I’m experimenting with Grundy, Aquaman, and Nightwing to see which one fits me best. Also dabbling a bit in Shazam.

I’ve been playing more ranked today. Same coast is okay, but GLHF if you want to do WC->EC type of connections.

It feels like SF4 but maybe even slightly worse. NRS dun fucked up. They should’ve licensed GGPO cuz they can’t code worth shit.

I want to love this game but the shenanigans in this game are so bad. I can’t take it seriously right now. I hope the online experience will smooth out in the next two weeks.

I don’t even like doing Coast to Coast connections in GGPO so that’s not much of a downside to me.
