If this game has bad netcode then it is dead in the water. NRS fighters seem to feature a lot of character design which completely falls apart when you throw in considerable input lag. MK9 was unplayable online IMO. Shame.
Who cares, if they decide to say that fairies and rainbows did it, it will make as much sense as other bullshit.
The fact that you use the term realism to describe the nonsense that happens on a video game that contradicts the nonsense that happens on comic books and only nerds care about is hilarious.
So seeing as the command list shows frame data for every single move, I compiled all of the images for ALL of the moves for ALL of the characters, and put them into separate .pdf files. I also popped in a picture showing what button layout I’m using. You can access them here, enjoy folks.
Why would you say that? MK9 didn’t have strong net performance, but it certainly wasn’t “dead in the water”. MvC3 doesn’t have strong net performance, and it isn’t “dead in the water”. Games that do have strong network performance sometimes don’t have a significant tournament presence. There appears to be no correlation between success of a game in the competitive community and network performance.
A large amount of people got it at launch, tried to play online, couldn’t land anything because the input lag was horrendous, and then weeks later when it still wasn’t fixed, traded it in.
If you live near a large gaming community and can play versus, then you had no problem. Sadly, I have to travel my ass off for the ability to do this, so I get relegated to online for like 99% of my fights. There is only so many single player games against the AI you can play before you crave those human strategies.
Pretty sure the places with large gaming communities are going to be the ones that determine if a game is dead in the water, and thus netcode has a low correlation with community size. MvC3, MK9, Kof13, Tekken 6 (TTT2 is amazing, however), none of these games died due to bad netcode.
As for Bane’s grab I would have to assume it’s primary use would be to blow up and sort of pressure by the opponent after being Venom enhanced, given that Venom gives all of his specials armor.
And yeah I had the same issue, Joker, Killer Frost, and Hawkgirl all seem to give me Harley’s data.
Sigh. I’ve been kinda’ avoiding this thread for fear of spoilers in case I ever do actually decide to try this game out. I wanna try out the cast before I go and spend 65 bucks on it. Hoping one of my friends gets it so I can try it out.
