Maybe a better example would be T6 to TTT2? Or hell even T6 to SCV. Its certainly possible for a developer to step their shit up, but who knows. Here’s hoping for playable netcode.
The online WAS a lot better in Ultimate…it just still wasn’t that good regardless.
MvC3 netcode compaired to early MK9 netcode isn’t even in the same ballpark. You could still land most combos and, you know, fight, in MvC3, even in the early days. I went like 2 weeks of MK9 without being able to play a SINGLE match (I am talking about multi second input lag on EVERY SINGLE MATCH) online, before I finally gave up and just traded it in and moved on to another game. Sim City, Diablo 3, MK9…I don’t have time for you to spend a month after release trying to make online not fail 100%.
Thanks for burying that dude so the game doesn’t get spoilt for me, I’m actually pretty interested in the story. I was wondering is anyone getting the battle edition? I need a new stick and I was considering picking that up, any word on that?

Ehh I dunno, I hear the stick in the battle edition is a PDP stick, and supposedly their sticks (at least the one for MK9) was… meh. Then again, maybe they’ve leveled up a bit for the IGAU stick.
The game is set to drop in two weeks and the components of the stick haven’t been revealed yet. That’s not a good sign

Did you play Tekken 6? I never managed to finish a match of it online, tried one night and thought ‘maybe everyone tonight just has a bad connection’, but it never got any better, and I quickly learned my lesson.
