This is what I am scared of. When MK first came out, you literally couldn’t play online. And if you did, it was so bad you may as well play MK2 style, and only hope you can connect a fireball after a jump kick, cuz that’s your combo limit now, sucker. That is a major reason why I ended up getting rid of the game (sadly, I missed it and re-bought it like 2 months later).
This game better come out and handle online like/better than MK handles right now.

I hope this gets fixed in the final product but with the stage transitions its kind of stupid that you can do it more than two times. Going from rooftop to the street and back to the rooftop which is cool cause it kind of makes sense but, when you transition back to the rooftop the stage is reset and then you can do the whole process over for the whole match. Pretty stupid imo, but with the demo overall I’m liking it hopefully the feeling sticks when i get the final product in my hands.
Well how is MK9 netcode nowadays? I know it was unplayable at launch (which was the reason I traded in the game after two weeks), but I heard it was later patched?
