Injustice: Gods Among Us; New Game by NetherRealm Studios

I’d make a joke about voices in different languages but I’d rather not spark a 5 page debate.

Good call. Give this man a medal.

Saw the video, atleast they aren’t as bad as the Japanese voiceovers for Modern Warfare 2

I haven’t really been keeping up too much with the game [I do that alot so as not to get my hopes up] but I have to ask these important questions about the gameplay.

How does the games blocking system work? Does it use the same one as Mortal Kombat with a block button or something different? Do you take block damage from blocking regular attacks? This is what has always pissed me off about the Mortal Kombat series, essentially making blocking useless. You should only take chip damage if you block special attacks.

If for some off choice you try to go into a projectile war, do the two projectiles cancel each other out or like MK, do they go through each other making the prospect of a fireball war pointless?

Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I haven’t been keeping up too much with this game as I have been a bit on the fence about it. I will atleast give it a try though

Wow, that commercial sucks…

Is it too much to ask that if you’re going to be offensive at least be funny.

Back to block, Normals do chip, Fireballs pass through each other

A video i found on TYM. I’m officially getting hyped for Injustice!

wow, Batman sounds badass in Japanese. Probably won’t change it to the Jap voice tho, hard to beat Conroy, but solid effort

Oh god, I’m way more hype for this game than I thought I’d be. Here I was thinking I was deadset on playing Black Adam, but the more I think about it the more characters I see myself playing. Lex seems like a crazy mix of my two favorite types of character (trap based and grappler), Joker’s trait sounds like the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in a fighting game, I completely forgot Hawkgirl was in this game and I love flight based characters, and I’m excited to see both Ares and Killer Frost. Too good.

Huh, so THAT’S what the Japanese feel every time a Capcom Fighting Game trailer is dubbed to English…

locked characters only available through preorder?

Oh dear.

Online will matter to a lot more people than tournament potential.

What evidence is there that NRS have got it right?

If they want it to work online (assuming it has online multiplayer) they could have hired the people that programmed soulcalibur 5 because that was perfect online.

what?

Someone tell them to think about tournaments and add in an easy “unlock all” code or just don’t lock them at all in versus/training mode.

Like spin the stick 20-30 times at the title screen.

Thats one sexy guide book.

Don’t know what that dude is talking about, but there are no unlockable characters, everyone is in from the start.

Heh, in the newest comic, Superman called out Batman for being gay for the Joker.

Uh, where did you hear this?

The gamestop advert above indicates there are preorder nonsense. I suppose that isn’t surprising since that’s how the industry works these days.

Pre-order costumes, the Red Son ones we’ve known about for months now.

Those are skins you get for a Gamestop preorder. Batman, Wonder Woman, and Solomon Grundy (Midnight Launched on a Monday) are already in the game.
