You are incredibly misinformed. There are no pre-order locked characters. Gamestop gets you Red Son themed COSTUMES for Superman, Grundy, and Wonder Woman. Walmart gets you Arkham City themed costumes for Batman, Joker, and Catwoman. You can still play all of those characters in the game regardless of where you buy it. The only thing that is “pre-order locked” are those specific outfits.

Knowing NRS, probly. MK9 they made sure that all the preorder DLC got bundled and released later on. I can’t say for sure cuz I’m not Ed Boon or God, but the odds are good based on their previous actions.

The online component is the real issue. They need to get a demo out.

Except the last time they did a Demo it had no online component. Unfortunately we’ll never know how the online performs until release.

I think Injustice is going to be bigger than Mortal Kombat. After playing it at PAX and talking to people who have tested it, I am pretty positive this game will blow up.
