Well Nightwing and Cyborg makes sense, Nightwing is more or less a solo act that can be a great team player and he’ll help the Bat resistance out in this story. Cyborg in the New 52 was never a Teen Titan to begin with (Supposedly Nightwing wasn’t either but not hard confirmed) and is a prominent member of the Justice League, he brings a tech based hero mind to this title.
Raven though is just fan service, she hasn’t accomplished shit for years in the comics and I doubt NRS is helping to promote TTGO the fake-animu crap here.
Good lord I hope the people asking for Supergirl don’t get their wish.
Well of course NRS won’t help promote it. Would be pointless and most of this is coincidental. I’m just saying the timing of this is very bad. Especially when the YJ series finale is tomorrow.
All this new footage is getting me curious about move properties. Between all the super armor guys like Grundy and Doomsday have, and the super slow moves people like Joker have, there are still so much to the systems that I don’t know.
That said, I’m really hoping the systems are as such that guys like Joker are viable, with all their crazy moves with bizarre properties. The last thing I want is to see nothing but, say, Ravens or Aquamen in the top 4 of EVO 2014.
Noob question. I’ve noticed in most of the videos the camera changes angles constantly. Will it be like that in the actual game or is it just for show?
It’s always been that way in NRS games. I don’t know if they intended this but I like it because it prevents shit like Guile vs Sagat taking 1000 hours to finish one game in a set because neither player wants to commit and instead throws fireballs at each other for 90 straight seconds.
You have to be more careful when you throw fireballs and make sure if you do decide to throw at the same time that the trade is in your favor. Most importantly, it keeps the pace of the game fast; even in a zoning match
Just for the show. They want to make it more cinematic with different angles, like you would see it in a comic book fight.
I don’t think there is a single person on this entire planet, who actually likes that.
Also, since some projectiles in NRS games momentarily stun your opponent, it puts more of a gamble into strategy. Do you risk taking damage from Liu Kang’s fireball because you know Sub-Zero can freeze him and hit a combo for more damage?
Same principle works in this game as well. For example, GL’s missiles vs. Arrow’s Freezing Arrow.
Wonder if all attacks chip the health bar like in MK9, or just certain attacks. Without really seeing health bars I can’t tell. Sure TYM figured this out but I’m lazy and tired.
