This makes me think, couldn’t they just have put Cheetah instead of Catwoman and Doomsday instead of Bane and have less Batman characters and more of others?
Yes, but then they didn’t. Moar Batman means more sales sadly, even though they’re many more characters that deserve a slot (and this is is coming from a Batman fan).
Besides, Bane has to represent for the Latinos.
Banes fine and a cool character no matter what hero he comes from but I definitely would have preferred Cheetah over Catwoman. You could have done all the same moves except a much more badass super and character because Cheetah is capable of much more.
Although Catwoman did give me hope that NRS is learning more how to do women’s faces. Too bad it didn’t help Raven much. Seriously tho, Catwoman’s face is miles better than the other ones. Even Wonder Woman’s who I think fits her.

A lot of supers in this game are kind of meh, I actually think that Catwoman has one of the better ones. Shazam, Hawkgirl, and especially Nightwing all deserved something cooler. Seriously, who’s idea was it to make that thing Nightwing’s super.
What’s wrong with Nightwings? I think it fights him, and out of all the Supers, it is the only one that has any actual weight to it.
I might be the minority on this, but I think its one of the dumbest supers I’ve ever seen. The ending of it is pretty cool, but the motorcycle part? Come on. It would’ve been better if he were to grapple hook your ankle and drag you around on the bike and then jump off and hit you with the staff.
I can’t disagree more, Nightwing’s super is way more badass than most of the powerhouses supers. Fits his style of fast multiple strikes perfectly and has no wasted movement like alot of the other supers.
The cycle helps add force to the strikes, I don’t see the problem with that one. Shazam’s is one in peticular that isn’t all it could be. I mean…no lightning? All he does is throw them back down from a lower height than Supes super? Terrible…just terrible.
I like Hawkgirls tho, any super where you smack bitches in the face with a fricken mace??? Win, epic win in my book.
My main gripe with Hawkgirl’s super is that it just looks like an EX move with a little extra cinematic, besides that its just plain.
With the amount of ranting that goes on about Batman characters it’s shocking that the Batman centric stages has gone unnoticed. So far we got Gotham City, Batcave, Wayne Manor and Arkham Asylum.
Gotham = Catwoman
Batcave = Batman
Manor = Nightwing
Arkham = Joker
Not enough Batman stages, Bane doesn’t have his own.
As long as they don’t have that stupid chant on the stage, I’m all for it

I don’t know if this was already answered, but yes - normal attacks will do chip damage as well.
When it comes to normals it will have its tweaks though, so some characters / attacks might do more damage than others, or for some part maybe no chip damage at all, but we’ll have to wait and see.
I think I’m going to wait until they’ve at least announced who the DLC characters will be. General Zod or Scorpion would seal the deal for me.

Neither Scorpion nor any other character from a universe outside of the DC universe will be in the game. NRS stated that long time ago. This is a DC fighter only.
But when it comes to the potential DLC characters, it’s very likely that NRS will go for the characters with the biggest demand to please the fans, so characters like Martian Manhunter, Blue Beetle, Lobo, Red Hood and few others have the best chances.
Are they definitely not going to be part of the initial roster? Sorry, haven’t caught news past the Raven trailer.
Well for now it LOOKS like the game could have only 24 characters at the beginning, since there is no official statement about the roster. Hector Sanchez once said that these 24 slots are just a placeholder and that the game could have more or less characters.
If it’s only at 24, then it looks like this:
We know 22 characters so far and 2 are hinted out (Ares and Killer Frost). If these 2 are in the game, then the roster is full and everything else is DLC material, but this is now all just speculation.
Maybe the game will come out, have 30 characters and feature all the likely DLC characters from the start and we will get other DLC characters later on. When it comes to NRS you never know, because they like to tease and troll. Especially troll… oh Ed Boon, you charming bastard.
What was Killer Frost introduced in? I don’t remember a reintroduce yet but I have been out of the loop for about a month and haven’t caught up yet comic book wise. If they were going with the whole Batman centric thing a cool dlc would be Inque. Im pretty sure I remember her getting reintroduced also Phantom Stranger, or maybe Shadow thief for Hawk girl even though he was more tied to hawkman but hey. A morph character would be pretty cool. Also kinda wish they would do a constantine character or some such someone from Justice league Dark Maybe Frank for a big body that could wipe out grundy? Oh well DLC speculation is pretty much all we have at this point I suppose. Heres hoping we get some good ones.
