i think it means that when you use EX run, then go into the slide it passes through fireballs.
if the fireball hits you during the run, then the armor absorbs it but if it hits you during the slide, then you pass through it.
before if you got hit during the slide part, the fireball would knock you out of the slide.
the EX run to stop has armor… possibly meaning that while you’re in the stop animation then you absorb one hit.
are the changes that were posted before about his U2 range and the TC hitbox on crouchers still in effect?
I hope you’re right cause that would be awesome. TC being fixed should definitely be in effect, hoping the same thing for the other buffs. I’m really excited about AE guy. I hope ssf4 will still be popular after mvc3 releases.
I really am so pumped. I can play exact same rushdown as before, PLUS runstop cr .lk = frametrap. Happyhappyhappyhappyhappy. Wow. Also liking the better/faster pokes, and increased super damage (stun in corner with super will be probably > 550 damage)

The best news for Guy imo is all of his EX Run buffs. Especially EX Run/Stop having armour. Hopefully everything previously said about Guy stays intact along with this new update. I’m definitely excited to hear this news.
Also, I’m not to clear if crouching lk has 3 frames or the close standing lk has 3 frames.
with cr.lk having so much range, hitting standing characters, and being a 3 frame move, it might be the best 3 frame normal in the game lol.
…if run xx stop has armour for stop animation, then just imagine reading the opponent doing a poke and countering with run xx stop, U2 FTW. BAD ASS!! I need to up my execution before AE releases.
His cr.lk is still no where as good as Rog and Dudley’s crouching jabs or Bison and Chun’s crouching shorts. But at least it gives him another option of getting out of block strings now. If the frame advantage on hit remains the same, then only crouching shorts will be easier to link into themselves.
What?! He has loads of trouble getting in on certain characters. Honda stands out for one. Shoto’s, Guile, Chun, Sim, Bison, Balrog? Pretty much the upper part of the tier list?
LMAO Are you serious? I love how you didn’t bother to explain anything either. All of these characters can turtle you out. What are you going to do? “oh it’s easy, they’ll make a mistake”…lol
all of these characters can be approached with run-stop, bushin flip-elbow and FA’s… except probably Honda and Sim… and maybe Guile depending on how patient you are.
then again… its really all about patience when you have trouble with characters.
