Laugh:

Do you have a Mad Catz TE stick? How do we wire to the small PCB housed below the Turbo / Home buttons? Can you send a pic, or point me to a picture in this forum?

One more thing… If we drop this PCB into a Mad Catz TE, then we would still be able to retain the home, lock, left analog, right analog, Directional Pad switch?

If so, I am sold!

No, because those functions are of the Mad Catz PCB.

Off the topic (sort of…): What about Xbox 360 TE + ChImp? Does this configuraiton retain above mentioned functions?

For the start, select, guide, turbo buttons, can I use one ground for these 4 buttons?

Also, does anyone have experience using this on the PS3 playing PS2 games yet? Compatible or no?

Thanks all.

Only on Xbox 360 side.
Because there is still Mad Catz PCB for Xbox 360.

PlayStation 3 will not have, because using ChImp.
If you want those functions, need Mad Catz PCB for PlayStation 3.

PCB is Common Ground.
So only need on Ground wire.

Thanks jdm wanted to make sure. Do you know off hand if this works with ps2 games played on a ps3?

Hey Ryan,

I would also appreciate the photos as I am trying to mod my SE stick and can only assume the Home / Turbo button PCB is the same as the TE.

That’ll be great!

Thank you.

That’ll be great!

Thank you.

So does this pcb “remember” which console its on? or does it default to one, and you just hold turbo when plugging it in to the other?

also laugh, do you have the harnesses for the buttons for sale with the pcb yet? and has anyone requested to keep the joystick wires and harnesses?

Every time plugged into different Console, then need hold Turbo.

ah, engrish… thx.

when you say ground loop you just mean the daisy chained ground plugs for the buttons? you should just sell the single wires harness, its easy enough to chain the connects together for however many buttons needed.

Hey Laugh, how is everything going ?

Listen up, i have a hori real arcade pro 3 for PS3 modded with sanwa parts. Is it possible for me to insert this pcb inside the stick, wire the pcb to the buttons and sticks simultaneos to the parts wired to the hrap3 and then only use each pcb while the stick is on ?

For example, i glue the stick to the side of the inside part of the box. Then i sodder the wires from the paewang pcb to the buttons. Keep in mind that the buttons will already have the wires coming from the hrap3 pcb but i manage to get them to stay together by using both wires on the quick disconnects. I do the same thing for the buttons and stick. Will that work for the stick to work on the 360 when i use the paewang cable and on ps3 with all the hrap3 functions when i use the original pcb ?

I’m not sure if you get the idea, but if you could answer me it would be nice.

If anyone knows, please, let me know as well.

I’m in desperate need in a cheap and fast way to get a xbox360 stick or xbox360 compatibility on my current stick.

Thanks

^ If all you want is 360 support, then why not just get a wired Mad Catz pad (2007 - 2009 production), Mad Catz retro controller, or even 360 fightpad? It will be a lot cheaper.

I just found this, and I want to know if it’s legit:

http://www.consoleshop.com/product.php?productid=17182

It looks like the same stick, but it is also compatible with Wii/PS2/GC. Is this true, and if so, is it just as moddable? It’s also only $40.00

I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere at all, so sorry if this has been posted already.

Edit: I read on some sites that the additional compatibility is with a joybox only, but this stick looks different (twin wire plug) and the site doesn’t say that it needs the joybox for PS2/Wii/GC compatibility.

It looks legit to me. Anyone?
