Hey sup guys, I’m having a small issue that dont know how to address here
My home button is not working as expected in PS3 only: when I tap the home button, the menu pops up, but then the whole joystick and buttons dont register inputs. If I then keep the home button pressed (Quit Game / Turn Off System), then the stick and buttons work again. My guess is that the home button is working as a on/off switch, but not quite sure about it. The weird thing is that in XBOX, it works flawlessly. Any ideas?
139mm28mm7mm if you take out all wires and the QDs on the up, down, left and right points. the 7mm includes the microcomponents including that big circular one next to the USB cord which I’m not too sure of.
Sorry for double post but this thread hasn’t been touched for a while.
Anyway I am having troubles with a stick I’ve previously modded where basically the X (playstation) seems to be always active and when you press the physical X button, nothing happens. As one might see from the diagram, X and ground are no where near eachother so it is a bit of an odd problem. This problem happens on both modes. I have also completely redone the wiring and still no dice.
It is modded with a PS1 board as well for it to be quad modded (and has the 2 golden rules of it where the ground and VCC are linked).
Can anyone help?
Is there a way to customize the art? It looks like a sticker for the art, that looks like it will leave residue
First off try to figure out if its a problem wit the boards them selves by testing each of them by themselves so that way u don’t get lost. if there is no problem wit the boards than my next guess would be the wiring but like u said already u just re-did the wiring, but u never know if the wiring was missed up on reassembly. hope this helps u out.
next time post pics, cause it might be useful.
I am currently having trouble wiring my Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK Joystick to my Paewang PCB, i took the dock plate off and mounted it like in the first post but when it comes to soldering the JLF-H Wiring Harness to the pcb the only direction that works is left…any tips?
re-check soldering and than check wit a multimeter if there is continuity on the PCB wit the GND and the SIGNAL points for the JLF than check to see if the signal is also sent down to wires themselves too.
is there a different place i can solder the ground wire besides the pcb?
i dont think so but i might be wrong
this is my set up as of now, but im still having the problem the stick only going left…
so u re-soldered the wires and check it wit a multimeter?
i dont have a multimeter on hand…or the money to buy one atm :-\
ok gettho status, hook up the PCB to a PC and than just cross the GRD and signal wires to the JLF one @ a time to see if it triggers anything in the Game controller menu.
hahaha, ok thanks man, i’ll try it
i have a few questions about putting a paewang revolution into a PS3 TE-S case…
as for the stick, its been fully gutted of buttons stick, and other boards. the stick is replaced with a Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK and the buttons are clear seimitsus
my major mod plans are to completely kill the home and turbo functions of the stock stick and mount 2 more pushbuttons on the side of the case for the “home” and “turbo” buttons and straight soldering them to the paewang PCB…my main concern is where to mount the PCB itself. any tips or guides on where to and how to mount the pcb would help considerably.
try mounting the board as close as u can to the cut out box that holds the wire for the stick. if ur gonna use a detachable cable like an RJ45 adapter than mount the board in that box if u can.
Is this chip flashable in the case that sony/MS blocks this?
hello I have a question with paewang. Are only way to detect the xbox 360 with the turbo button?. Or otherwise you can put a v2 imp to put DTP mode
I also have a question… Anyway to make it work one my ps2 kof mira? the joystick don’t work, only the buttons work.
I’ve got this problem : after using my mayflash for almost a year, the stick stopped working on ps2’s, it works fine on pc though.
Got any ideas?
