Mod it with a jlf.

Well, I wouldn’t want to mod it if in the end down-right still wont respond :stuck_out_tongue:

Is it already modded? May flash sticks are crappy.

Does anyone know the overall dimensions of the Paewang PCB?

The length of the Paewang is 14cm, the width is almost 3cm. They are about 1cm thick if you include the connectors that go to your stick.

Thanks very much for the info!

Thanks for this very very interesting guide ! … But i haaate soldering :frowning:

The solder is already there all you need to do is solder wires into the solder.

I’ve heard you can mod this solderless before, though

Cannot.

So I own a Datel and everything was working fine until today, I was on GGPO playing around alone on Super Turbo then all of sudden my hard punch stopped working. I tested it on other games and it didn’t work. I checked it on my computer and the hard punch wasn’t registering, so I tested it on my 360 and it wasn’t working either. So anyone got any ideas what is wrong? should I desolder the connection and solder it again? I switched the wires with a different button to check if it was the button and it work so it has to be my soldering job. I’m a novice solderer so that’s why I’m thinking that might be the prob.

Modded or not? If it isn’t the button just proke, no question. If it is, either the wire came lose or the button broke. test the wire on different buttons unless ofc it’s completely torn off, and if it works it’s the button and vice versa. I ran into that once I just redid the QD to one of my obsf 30s.

^ it’s modded, got sanwas and button harness from etokki. I tested the button and I know it works.I tried the wire on another button and it didn’t work.

Well here’s what you can do to pinpoint the problem. Step one: Check wire on other button, it didn’t work. Check other wire on the button, probably works. Check if the wire is properly soldered down, should be. What probably happened is there was tension on the qd and the wire slipped out. Get a new qd or solder the wire down instead.

Well thanks guys, I’ll try your suggestions out. If neither works I guess I’ll have to change the button config up lol.

I used this guide to mod my old Mayflash and it worked very well for a while. After a few months though, it seems like I’m having trouble with diagonal inputs. Is this normal wear and tear caused by too much downback? How should I go about fixing this problem? Should I just buy a new stick?

Could be error on your part, could be loose wire, could be worn gate, could be damaged microswitch.

After examining the stick a bit more, I found out that one of the microswitches is a bit wiggly. My Mayflash is a 2009 model (non-common ground) so I used this guide to make the stick work properly. Any suggestions?

Resolder the switch, or buy a new one.

Sorry to bother, but can paewang pcb be used in a hitbox? I tried to make one with this pcb but the directional keys don’t wordk at all :frowning:
