It’s the same music as the NA version. The only difference is the Training Stage now has cheesy rap lyrics to it’s music.
i just battled this guy Ace. i beat him badly with ken and ryu and then he quit. so i ended up facin him again with batsu and chunny and he beat me and i didnt quit. i figured he owed me one because i didnt quit so i fought him again with casshan and morrigan, won and he still quit. now he robbed of victories. i dont care about bp but i do care about victories. just lettin people keep a look out for this quitter. he uses ryu and soki.
…I think you’re in the wrong thread.
Posting the tutorial to make your own SSD files
UPDATE: Made an update to the song replacement list EDIT: Fixed a major mistake on list
http://www.mediafire.com/?zny4mjmzmin (3.5 KB)
UPDATE 2: Use this tutorial to replace files, if you get a black screen
Just replace the files in the ‘us’ folder before rebuilding
The songs will work during online play.
thanks, i tried it and it works, i got lost in your tutorial but that was my fault for not reading it properly lol
Don’t hate!
“I wanna take you for a ride.”
Anyway, I never modded a Wii so I wouldn’t know. I remixed CvS2 and MvC2 on the dreamcast and it was definitly worth it. My friends love it too.
F*CKTHESCENE
Let me know it turns out. I would love to see your remixes.
Imaginary rep
Thanks for the tutorial! I’m going to start on my own custom soundtrack now, I just have to figure out what song I’ll put on what stage.
Also, the sample song you included is hotness!
EDIT: I’m gonna post a link to your tutorial on GBATemp, they’ve been waiting for this one dude to post up a tutorial to swap the music from CGoH into UAS and I don’t think it’ll happen anytime soon. Hope you don’t mind.
That’s fine, and just to confirm, You can change any of the music in the game, Menus, Winner Screen, Endings, Vs. Yami, etc.
I forgot to include them in the tutorial as not to mix things up because of some of the SSD file placements.
I should be able to work on that tomorrow night.
One question, what is your method of playing the new ISO?
I’ll be using an HDD loader (cfg loader) to load the new ISO once I build it. I’m trying to get my homework done before I work on the custom soundtrack. I’m sure it’ll work without a hitch because I used to load a copy of UAS with CGoH’s music right off of the hard drive.
you can change the Vs screen music :O, didnt know that, if you dont mind, do tell lol, but yeah i love my custom soundtrack and thanks again for the tutorial MGF!
I hope I can get this thing rolling tonight, homework is taking up most of my time and tomorrow I’ll be too hype for FFXIII to bother with the custom soundtrack. IMO the hardest part of it all is deciding what song for what stage.
So far I’m thinking about for the training stage or Orbital Ring Systems Cargo Bay…and then my mind goes blank.
just do chumba wumba for every level.
I’ve updated the song replacement list so you can change all the music.
FIXED List http://www.mediafire.com/?zny4mjmzmin
I may have gotten a few (newer) songs out of order, but I think most, if not all, of them should be correct.
I was using the tutorial to make new tracks but when I finished I accidentally deleted the bgm.srt file. I have all the new ssd files is there anyway to make a new bgm.srt or am I just going to have to start all over again. -_-.
While I was reading this tutorial, about the perfectly looped songs you get, what does it mean by perfectly looped?:
**Song starts, ends, then starts all over again
Song starts, then close to the end, it loops at certain offset in the start of it so it never really ends
It means this.
Oh i see, I couldn’t find that section in the tutorial…So that tool does it automatically? Even with a custom song and not one from CGoH? If that’s not the case, how can I do that?
I hate to say this, but it sounds as if you need to start over
Or you can use a file recovery tool like RECUVA.
When the song loops, I meant that it’ll play once, then restart when the song ends (infinitely).
If it didn’t loop, the song would play once and the rest would be silence.
If you’re interested in creating your own loop points, then I’m sort of lost.
You can create loop points from 16 bit Mono Wav files into DSP files (each Left and Right channels) in adpcm.exe
I don’t know how though. I think you might be able to make loop points when you make BRSTM files, too.
I’m very eager to get this stuff to work once I get a chance to try it all out. I’ve been thinking of songs that come to mind for each stage. I wonder what other people have for their playlist for custom soundtracks!
i tried this tutorial, and all i get is a black screen
i did everything on the tutorial, i read that others are having the same problem in GBAtemp, i have all the resouces, but it wont work…
