Ibuki Critique Thread ver.2

He’s been saying it for awhile now. But I actually do laugh out loud whenever I land the unblockable. It makes the guys at the arcade SO mad, lol.

If you obtain 1500PP or upload a video of you perfecting a >1500PP Chun-Li, Guile, or El Fuerte in Ranked Match – I’ll personally train you over Xbox LIVE. Just please take more than 3 weeks. I’ll be buying a an Arcade Stick just to do this.

Good luck.

Those are awesome terms; just to be clear is there a time limit?

Also, do both rounds have to be perfect? Or just one?

No time limit, as long as it’s still possible to play. Just one round can be a perfect. Have fun.

I’ll try as hard as I can. I won’t be able to get many matches in this week though.

Pretty nice of you Izuna to give an incentive to another player, by coming out of retirement to help them. Pretty clever.

That being said. YCU, you’ve got a tough road ahead of you. It’s pretty difficult to perfect any player or character without developing extremely solid play, strong defense, knowledge on how to intelligently utilize your mix-ups, and a heavy dose of patience. It’s a pretty lofty goal, but very attainable, so good luck to you.

Wait a second, Izuna is retired?

Yup. He’s busy with irl stuff, and no longer has an arcade stick. Apparently he’s still sticking around on the forums, but as far as actively participating in tournaments and casuals, he’s pretty much done for now.

errr… Wouldn’t you think by the time an Ibuki player perfecting a >1500PP Chun-Li, Guile, or El Fuerte in Ranked Match, he or she would be on their way of knowing how to train to become a better player??? Just asking ^_^;;

That’s kind of the idea. Give them a plateau that they can work to attain, and then get some more mentoring to take it to the next level.

Also it’s pretty easy to perfect a >1500pp character, as long as you know how to land a knockdown and do kunai vortex, it’s pretty easy to finish them off.

He’s just giving himself an excuse to play again because he knows that eventually he’ll die for playing a bit of Street Fighter. You can’t just stop doing what you like and forget it.

That, or preparing for his glorious return, just in time for Dive Kick, the future of all fighting games.

Speaking of which; I missed that Dive Kick part, anybody can explain me where is this from?

Kick is top tier.

I love teaching, and I can teach Ibuki players.

Can somebody teach me how to play Ibuki?

Lolwut?

Pretend you’re playing Super Cammy, except your TKCS is insta kunai.

Can I mash this TKCS you speak of?
