I just made an account here. I looked up deadpool and it brought me here. Here is a video of me playing deadpool. the other guy happy birthdays me and when I recovered deadpool comes in and kills his whole team by himself without being touched.

hey people i’m new, can deadpool work with any characers that aren’t the usual like doom/dante/wesker/sentinel you see? i just dont like those characters,
are there any weird teams with good synergy for deadpool? can anybody that has studied him help me out 
i dont mind where i play him whether its on point assist or anchor, i just want like a funky team to just practice practice practice that involved him, and just be a bit different, and try to make it work
You’re going to need to play him on point for him to be worth using. Anchor deadpool is pretty pointless when you could have such better anchors.
Honestly, I wouldn’t suggest excluding doom/dante/wesker/sentinel from your team. However, there are some odd characters Deadpool can work with.
I’d definitely suggest Deadpool/Strider for the fantastic zoning potential of the team. Since Deadpool’s zoning is only horizontal, Strider’s vajra assist covers the screen vertically and forces the opponent back down towards deadpool’s projectiles. If vajra hits an airborne opponent, deadpool can combo off of it with katanrama and get a full 600k combo. If you run Deadpool/Strider, Strider will have to be your anchor character.
Taskmaster’s arrow assists also work well in conjunction with deadpool to lock down the opponent, and dhcs between deadpool and taskmaster also work fairly well. Taskmaster’s zoning also benefits from a lot of the same assists that Deadpool’s zoning benefits from, so most characters that have synergy with Deadpool have synergy with Task.
Ammy’s coldstar assist can also help lock down opponents, and also can cause the capture damage unscale glitch, as seen in this video:

Akuma’s tatsu is also great because it can reset Deadpool’s ground bounce by using it right as you OTG, and can also be used for both lockdown and keepaway purposes.
I used to play Tron/Thor/Deadpool.
I’ve also done Tron/Deadpool/Shuma that team was weird but it was more fun than good.

wedge i’ve literally only started to get the basic 15 hit combos down mate lol, i’m very bad, i used to play smash bro’s and wanted a change in console/game and just picked this up today, i’m most comfortable on pad btw will never get a stick hope its not a hinderance?
not familiar with certain technology, you got footage of a reset otg or ground bounce?
wedge i just see online and local tourneys alot of deadpool players rely so hard on doom missles and what not, and i dont want to be that reliable on 1 toon thats all.
would say Dpool/strange/stryder work?

i’m having a hard time dhc into dorm from dpool, thats the only problem, firebrand is so sick from what i’ve seen online, and strange looks like he has potential, could you give me pro’s cons on any of this?
i dont think my stryder will ever be good enough to be anchor, and i’m very meter happy atm so i cant handle having stryder already being a glass cannon…being left on his own with no cannon, know what i mean?
any help on other weird team choice would be appriciated bud! 
Oh it’s all good. I’m also an ex-smash player who uses deadpool on pad. He’s fine, you won’t have any trouble playing deadpool on pad.
Uhh deadpool/dorm/strange sounds like a good order. I’d suggest that. Anchor strange is actually pretty good.
dpool doesnt dhc well into dorm though, thats why i was going to pickup firebrand maybe? or is that pointless, dorm dhc’s well into dpool from what i’ve seen.
HHT>Chaotic Flame works and so does Cutting Time>Fireball I’m not understanding what you mean. I used to run Triple D (deadpool,dorm,doom) and the I never had any issue’s w/ DHC’s

Good stuff Slauterhouse. Wade can play anchor as well, but he’s way more fun on point because of the Troll factor. I also run Dante/Frank/Deadpool but IMO having him point is the best you because you actually get to play him the whole match and piss people off instead of doing quick work infinites and anime powerup(xfactor) combos… I actually got my 1st Perfect using Deadpool/Doom/Strider yesterday…GAWDLIKE!!!
it just must be my timing, but i’m timing it as fast as possible and i hht>chaotic flame but after hht he’s already on the floor and rolling out into block.
You’re doing Chaotic Flame too late bro, you wanna make sure you get it out before HHT is over.
wait wait, i might know why, after a bnb do you do air hht or try to do standard hht? that might be my problem…i’m still messing around with bnb’s. not usre how to finishem thats why.
The ground one, you can make the air HHT connect w/ a ground Hyper but you have to pay attention to your hit counter. Since they pop up on odd hits (i think) you can catch them but it’s pretty tricky. Since you’re starting off just do the ground HHT/Cutting Time. The bnb I use depends on how much meter I will have, if I know I’ll have 2 bars I’ll do a combo that ends w/ a ground Cutting Time>Hyper (you can use HHT>Hyper) if not I’ll do one that ends in a air HHT
I always play him on anchor. x factor is really good with him. X factor is really good with him, so I’m glad I didn’t use it here, except for the grab at the end. I know longer and better combos, but chose to do taunt combos for this video. I got other videos that show other combos.

Hey wedge so i had a little revamp with my team mate, and i’m struggling on an anchor, i know i said i didn’t want to play dante, but that was such an ignorant descision, i went away and started dabbling with him a bit, his synergy is quite beast with dpool, and he can style so hard!
i also love dantes anti air i think? jam session, when i zone with dpool its such a good tool to help zoning. my problem is anchor, i’m trying to build a team heavily around dpool, as he is my favourite character, so these are the options i have.
dpool(havent decided on a good assist yet)/dante(with anti air assist)/thinking either task master or hawkeye for anchor?
could this work? what would benefit synergy wise and help dpool? task or hawk?

When you’re thinking about choosing an anchor you should try to find someone who helps your second character in case your first character dies. There are some excellent shells such as Doom/Ammy or Morrigan/Doom where if the point dies they are still very effective. See if you can find an assist that really complements Dante as well as Deadpool. Task and Hawkeye aren’t bad choices, as their arrows assists can increase the strength of Deadpool’s zoning game and let Dante set up bullshit teleport mixups. There may be a better assist out there for Dante, for instance it would be nice if you picked an assist to let him combo off of his airthrow.
so hawkeye could work? i will have a play around, but i’m liking hawkeye, the fact he is a more solid anchor than task master, and can chip in xf3 is pretty good, i also like his level 1 super, very reliable.
Or you could run mags I like how Yipes’ Dante/Mags work together. Both assist (greyhound and disruptah) come out at pretty much the same speed. The 1 advantage I say Eric would have is that he builds meter like it’s going out of style.
