Did anyone make up any combos utilizing Vergil’s homing swords? I’m tired of seeing his spiral sword loops, any other creative combos out there?
homing swords seem to erratic to do a consistent combo with
you can do a blistering swords combo (2h>swords>immediate conversion to blistering swords>[2h>L+H xN]
btw does this combo work anywhere? The SH always whiffs when I try it on Hulk.
i have no idea what SH is
i’ve tested it on small chars (ammy arthur joe) and big chars (sent nemesis) and it worked fine
doesnt work outside of midscreen and corner

Man I literally spent seven hours today trying to do Ramza’s Spiral Sword combo. I’d say I get it off 2% of the time.
For the life of me I can’t consistently combo the last hit of the first Lunar Phase. I connect it more then not when I back dash. But I also drop it a lot because of the dash. Even upon immediately canceling my back dash.
I just don’t get how you guys can do this combo.
are summon swords loop possible in the corner? when my lunar phase puts them in the corner, i whiff the cH and i can’t continue the loop anymore.
dont do c.H in the corner,… Use standing S, H… since your whiffing c.H you will be close enough that s.S s.H will knock the opponent up then back down into the loop.
Why is it that almost every combo ive seen end with lunar phase into high time, dimension slash; no one teleports after lunar phase for better positioning into high time/dimension slash… It is possible. But i dontsee people using it…
Here’s a tip that helps me a lot. After you release round trip, do couching H, Light Judgment Cut, and a second crouching h. Once you spiral swords, you can lunar phase without any change in position. No backdashing in other words. Works on all characters like a charm. Just need to hit both crouching Heavys. This is what helped me, hope it works for you.
It **is not **possible late into a combo that involves many spiral swords loops. Vergil doesn’t have enough time to teleport and reposition himself. Only works if Lunar Phase is used for the ground bounce and not hard knockdown like at the end of some combos.
Uploading a vid soon… it works… even on hard knock down, it looks like the height of the Lunar phase depends on if you can get the teleport hightime or not…
Oh, I didn’t think it worked since Vergil was usually too low to the ground. Interesting find for more damage if it does.
thats pretty much the first loop i posted on page 3, lol. cr.H>L jcut>cr.H>swords doesn’t work on some chars (too far away for swords, have to substitute first cr.H for st.H)
anyway, DS isn’t mashable. stop breaking your controllers.
If you are talking about Dimension Slash it actually is mashable.
