Hah, as for me I just feel like I don’t play Vega smooth enough. Most of my wins were from playing mind games and simple poking, until they start figuring out my pattern that is when I struggle and start to backflip like a retard lol. Also, I still feel shaky at starting/setting up jump-in combo.
Btw, I’ve seen other Claw players that blackflip like 24/7, which I don’t do unless necessary and rather find it annoying myself.

Vega needs a bit more of everything. Hes weak all round.
I like to do j.hp, c.lp, c.lp. l.rcf. Just hold db immediately after jumping and it comes out easily enough. Work your timing from there and change jabs to mediums.

The other guy plays a pretty good basic Vega game. He won some of the local forum tourneys. (not with Vega though, he’s a Ryu main)

Went down to 6100 tonight. Gief is still my main roadblock. I mean he jumps at me. At best i can do a st.HK to trade with his j.HP (which is bad), so i can either block which leads to 50/50 or try to FA. If i block first hit i can either jump or continue blocking if i guess wrong i take insane damage. And it takes like a million hits for me to get gief down and only like 6-7 for him to take me down. Bleh. Make ST have invincibility frames and voila, Vega is almost fixed.
Stay the hell away from him. Stay out of hugging distance. Be patient and turtle him out.
If you have Ex and he is walking towards you sometimes you can catch him off guard with Ex Izuna.
I just play at the CTF-arcade alot tho i don’t have A Ps3/Xbox 360S to play online tho.
Tweleve or someone else at CTF would probly know if iam good or not.
Jin you’re pretty damn good, I pretty much never see you make any terrible mistakes, aside from Ultra which I too am guilty of so I don’t have the right to criticize that hahaha.

i just watched some videos from some tourney on youtube from xbox 360 site and i must say that those were THE worst vegas i have ever seen and it made me sick to my stomach. sorry just had to vent about it for a sec. one guy was spaming his bar drop back to back i t was just pure garbage. i really hope none of you guys play like that.
