anybody manages to collected all the cards yet? the games keeps giving me the same cards on offline mode.
Thank you kindly, though now that I think of it Blade primary could also work since it pretty much means you aren’t falling down unless your opponent gets several high damage combos off before you can hit him back. Then again Rogue primary means any super even on block is a ton of health back. Oh heroes and heralds how many combos can you make work?
I’ve come to the sad realisation that Mandarin primary has some rather horrid counterpicks (namely Fou Lu and Fing Fang Foom), so I obviously won’t be able to turn X-Factor every battle. Nonetheless, my Mandarin deck is currently as follows:
[]Mandarin (HC Gauge+ LV2, Force X-Factor activation for both players)
[]Silver Surfer (HC Recovery LV1, Assist Vitality Recovery LV2)

Devilot (DHC Vitality Absorption LV3, DHC HC Gauge Absorption LV3)
I run this when using my (current) main team of Firebrand/Super-Skrull/Trish. I can blow up X-Factor at will (i.e. when I’m landing a killing combo), subsequently abuse chip shenanigans (with Trish especially), get to make the most of my red health and get rewarded for DHCing like crazy. It’s only Annoying tier at best, but I like it.
Since getting blown up online, though (currently 7/12 =[), I’ve been fretting over what other stuff to run to actually rack up some wins, and seek to invent some broken shit of my own. I’m currently come up with the following:
[]Fing Fang Foom (Consant X-Factor with 3 HCs stocked, No HCs)
[]Mephisto (HC Gauge+ LV3, HC Gauge Recovery LV2)

Dr. Wily (Damage+ for stocked HC Gauge LV1)
I run Wesker/Chris/Phoenix for this deck. This basically guarantees me Infinite X-Factor Dark Phoenix: Wesker on point with Chris’s Gun Fire assist could kill near anyone anyway, but I can tag in Phoenix seconds into the battle to set her up. All three are very capable without need of meter, so Fing Fang Foom’s drawback is minimal. Even Chris alone swung second online game I’ve tried with this team in my favour, due to stalling, chip, and even touch of death combos. I will definitely test this more.
Fou-Lu + Miles Edgeworth + Miles Edgeworth
3 X factors and every time you X factor you get 5 meters.
Dr. Wily + Fin Fang Foom + Mephisto
Probably the highest damage X factor deck I can come up with.
Fin Fang Foom + Miles Edge Worth + Red Hulk
3 Meters to activate X factor but every time you X factor you get 2 meters. Also When you X factor you get a wall bounce you can combo off of, essentially giving you free openings once you have 3 meters.
SIlver Samurai + Souki + Souki
Probably the most damage without using X factor if you want to run a chip damage team and still use supers.
That really makes me mad. Apparently Fin Fang Foom locks every hyper except for Dark Phoenix. With Fokker and FFF, she’s pretty much going to tear up people online. I hope this wasn’t intentional or anything, because that’s messed up.
Even running that deck, it turns out I’m free to X-Factor Amaterasu+Doctor Doom at 3 bars. I’m thinking I’m just shit at this mode.
So how about dealing with teams that have super armor with the FFF build?
I’m running Mephisto(Primary)/FFF/Dr. Wiley as my online cheese with Wesker/Magneto/Phoenix. It’s laughably stupid.
I’ve played a FFF/Multiple Man/?? jean gray team and it wasn’t that bad. Once I got rid of the first dark, I killed both other jeans pretty quickly but I’m sure that deck could have been better somehow.
After running into FFF I was thinking of possible counters. The first one that came to mind was: Godot/Fou Lou/DHC drain life and meter card (can’t remember the name off hand but I think this is its effect). Most FFF decks had a meter enhancing card as their primary or Mandarin. If they have Mandarin, they will lose their XF right from the start and if they have, Mephisto for example, if I touch them any combo into DHC will make them keep losing meter, health, and no more XF :p.
Any thoughts on this FFF counter or other variations?
dr wily/multiple man/FFF w/ wesker. lulz
I just got done trying this (since a similar setup with Wesker ended up beating me), going on 15 wins and counting.
Also appears that Wesker’s glasses don’t come back on even after he dies.
HAHAHA, wtf h&h, wtf.
haha, its bad enough they have to deal with wesker w/ nonstop xfactor and dr wily’s crazy power up… but ***3?! ***hahaha
Godot counters most of the “top” decks in the game right now. Especially decks that are built around Dark Phoenix play or meter gain/management.
I am not even bothered by FFF, Mandarin, Multi Man, Dr Wilyetc. These cards can be countered and beaten. Parry is easily the most broken thing in the game right now and I can’t imagine it was an intended feature for it to be usable during hit stun. You can’t zone against a team with Parry on them because they will just blow through your beam/arrows by parry and moving forward. It’s hard to finish combos on someone with Parry. None of your block strings are safe against someone with Parry. Parry teams are also immune to chip if played properly. If you have the means to play godly with Parry, you should be unbeatable in H&H.
A strategy is that you are free to do TACs since they will 80% of the time be guarding against left-right TACs to protect their precious meter. You can do Down TACs for free essentially since they don’t dare risk losing their XF.
I played a Lin/Lin/Lilith team that was awesomely broken, he was using it with Dorm/Trish and Morrigan. When he got 2 bars and some space, he spammed Stalk Flare/Round Harvest, calling Morrigan while I was in blockstun, and repeated it till death. I could have countered it had my Primary Card been more useful, cool tactic regardless.
I now run a team of Deadpool/Doom/Arthur, with Dazzler/Watcher/Colossus. The survivability of Deadpool is crazy on that team, his zoning is almost untouchable with Doom Missiles, a cancellable taunt, and super armor.
Nothing is safe from X-Factor burst. NOTHING.
Offline Heralds, Offline Heroes, and Online have different drop rates for each card.
I was stuck at about 56% as just Offline Heralds. Switched over to Heroes (you don’t lose progress when switching) and got to about 85%. Went online for a few rounds and got 1-2% that was eluding me before.
If you want 100% Completion you’re going to have to do a bit of everything, I think.
Have you tested the damage on this deck in training mode?
I tried Attack Up Lv3 + Attack Up Lv2 and the damage output is the same as Attack Up Lv3 + Attack Up Lv1. I think the all abilities cap at Lv4/MAX and the second Soki is unnecessary.
Real life kept me away from the heroes and heralds today, but here’s a quick and a rather popular one it seems:
Attack Increases as you gain meter (Dr. Wily)
Lv1: 6% per meter (30% at 5)
Lv2: 8% per meter (40% at 5)
Lv3: 10% per meter (50% at 5)
MAX: 14% per meter (70% at 5)
The increase in damage from this ability stacks multiplicatively with other damage boosting effects (like vanilla Increases Attack, and X-Factor)
edit: i must’ve been on something when i wrote this, thinking increased attack was 30/40/50/70 instead of 10/20/30/50 lol. yeah, wily’s ridiculous
Attack Increases as you lose Health (Franciska von Karma)
Lv3: 10% increase in damage for every 20% of health missing (red health counts as missing health)
As Karma is the only card that possesses this ability and it is a primary ability, achieving a MAX version of this ability is impossible.
Karma is kinda meh. Again, I’d rather use Sil Sam or Red Hulk.
Yo Sleaze, if you want to maximize your damage, I’d recommend:
Red Hulk - PRIM
Princess (actually go Kingpin, has an additional bonus - SEC
(your choice, recommending Fou Lou, Multi Man, etc.) - SEC
Hulk boosts regular damage, Princess boosts hyper damage. Under normal circumstances, if you touch someone, you should kill them.
Personally I use it on Wolverine with Multi Man, don’t let Wolvie touch you!
Couple questions. What does “The length of instant attacks will be increased” do? And do some cards shoot up your hit-stun deterioration without telling you? I was using **Blodia/**Mephisto/X and I couldn’t even do a basic X-23 abc combo into an otg hyper without the opponent flipping out at the end.
I can’t obtain Multiple Man for the life of me. Is it an online specific card? Because I can’t seem to get it offline.
