After much time nd effort (2 minutes) I have finally figured it how to make the single most infuriating deck possible!
Step 1. Pick the cards: Dazzler(recover vitality by taunting)/Lord Raptor (increase attack power by taunting), Dazzler/Lord Raptor, Multiple Man. Choose whichever one you want as the primary.
Step 2. Pick Akuma.
Step 3. WEAK!-WEAK!-HAM!-WEAK!-HAM!-HAM!-WEAK!- etc… :badboy:
Sadly unable to test this at the moment as I’m not there but I had a thought. When you have cards that give % of hp back but also cards that increase your hp total does the heal include the buffed amount or the base amount? Something like: Primary: Daken. Secondary: Luke Cage x2. Would that heal 2.5% a second on the base 1.3 mil or 2.5% of the almost 2 million? (aka making it say 1.25 or no)
A team of Thor, Hulk, Nemesis with massive hp buffs AND health regen scaling to it would be quite abuseable. And sorry if that question is worded terribly, I’d check myself but I’m unable to for quite a while.
I’m currently running Thanos (primary), Blodia, Fou-Lu.
Two X-Factors allows me to burn one solely to level Frank to 4 off of any combo and keep one in reserve. Super armor on ground dash is outrageously useful for fast characters (Trish, X-23, etc).
Parrying while being hit does appear to reduce damage btw – I’ve survived a lot of things I shouldn’t have been able to. Parrying forward through beam supers and throwing them out of it is the highlight of Marvel play for me thus far, btw.
FFF allows you to sit, use an invincible anti air assist, and just block waiting for a mistake or a grab opportunity. With the right deck, any touch is a dead character. Using Wily/Foom/Fokker, the standard b&b with Iron Fist kills Thor. Doom does 1.6 mil in the corner. Basically, it turns your team into SF2 old characters. Just play smarter, more methodically. You know, fundamentals. Which some players at all skill levels in this game seem to lack.
I’m running Sabretooth (Prime)/Ms. Marvel/Green Goblin Felicia is basically invincible and does so much damage with being able to spam delta kicks that are now stronger then before.
Doesn’t matter if the team/character you’re using has an XF loop or infinite, or they make a team devoted to chipping you with XFactor lockdown.
Does the card that gives you super armor with taunts work with Mighty Speech?
I’m on the FFF/Mandarin train, only with Cyclops as the Primary. Ghost Rider on point + Constant XFactor + Chip normals is really infuriating for the other guy. FFF Mirrors are more annoying since you can’t chip. Once I start seeing that combo more, probably have to do something else like a card that can dash cancel normals for meter, so I can actually use my meter with IF to dash cancel and extend his long combo chains to compensate for lack of meter.
For now I’m liking the chip card.
Scarlet Witch/Fou-lu/Ryu is so good.
It would’ve been cool if we could somehow trade cards with each other like a true trading card game. I finally got my Cyclops card, paired that with X and playing Iron/Chun/Doom (not my competitive team) Iron Fist is even more fun than before and Chun Li/Doom can stay in the air for even longer periods of time. I could essentially lame it out if I really really wanted to. But that’s some bitch shit, and I dont.
Nick Fury card is really damn good, IMO. I mean how many characters have an attack that can kill off at least 6% of your health in one hit!? xD
So where can I get the S rank MegaMan classic card? I’ve heard some locations have a higher rate of getting certain cards.
I played 5 matches of H&H online with capcom card rate MAX’d and got a bunch of shit I already had.
Lol zero with super armor has to be the most retarded thing I have ever seen. Not only is it hard to hit him but when u do he still hits you.
Right now I’m trying to run Mandarin + Fou-Lu, but I’m drawing a blank on who to have as my third card. The main idea of the deck is to land a combo early on and activate xfactor to drain theirs at the same time (Mandarin), while Fou-Lu gives me another X-factor to burn for whatever else I need it with. What other card would be best with this deck?
BTW - I’m running Wesker, Trish (projectile), Skrull (Tenderizer)
p ryu
fou lu x2
huge faggot deck
Can anyone explain in detail what the differences between levels of parrying does for you?
Probably a more lenient window.
This is actually my current team: Nemesis/Thor/Hulk with Daken | Luke | Luke. The HP regen is based off the percentage of visible bar missing, not health totals. In other words, Nemesis will recover the same visible amount of health bar as Ametarasu.
Yes it’s dirty, especially since Nemesis is a high vitality keepaway character.
I’d say offline since you can run the rare chance % cards (Prof X, Nick Fury, etc.) without dealing with your opponent’s.
I’m gonna try this with Arthur, except replacing one Fou Lou with Multiple Man.
**and it has been tried, it’s weak vs. regeneration/chip damage prevention, but otherwise it’s decent.
I had a few, mostly just for Fin Fang Foom to make him a bastard.
Fin Fang Foom, Captain Blue (I’m sure there are other cards that give you two meters and have some other effect, if you find them, tell me!), primary Edward Fokker. Bam, instant XF and constant XF. With Fokker as your main card, you get a 210% boost in power when XF is active, plus your hyper meter regenerates. So, there you go.
Another I like is secondary Devilot, primary Lilith, and secondary Princess. If you have to, replace Devilot with primary Captain Blue and you’ll get enough meter to DHC into a level 3, which I only use for Cap/Doom. Pretty much means hitting a multihit hyper like Hyper Charging Star will net you almost a full meter. Then, you DHC into another multihit hyper like Doom’s Photon Array and you get almost another meter, plus it does raw, 750k for 75% of a meter, with a Cap combo it’s about 1.2mil for 50%. So, for a short combo and two meters, you spend only a half a meter to get 1.2mil.
Fing Fang Foom/Mandarin/Edward Fokker
Start with XF, lasts as long as 3 bars are out. slowly regenerates bar gauge and doubles my attack power
