Im having trouble finding maestro, black widow and beast cards, anyone knows a common stage to get em?
I’m pretty sure the best overall HH deck is Hunk/FFF/Grandmaster
It has raw damage, massive health regen (grandmaster’s regen is equivalent to sabretooth and works in combination with x-factor), immunity to chip, easy meter gain, and parry. I would use a team that doesn’t need meter to get big damage. Teams that use characters like Ghost Rider, Taskmaster, Chris, and Wesker.
Another good thing about the deck is that it is immune to Serpent’s primary effect because Hunk is an A-class card.
Okay, where in the world do I get Sabertooth? I see him online all the time, mostly paired with keepaway teams.

They are not tied to specific factions or online/offline mode. I’ve earned some of the same cards in all thread modes (offline Heroes and Heralds/online)
Bonus of the day is random too. I’m missing only 5 cards and you just have to grind through either Heroes or Heralds or both (because it’s faster than playing online) < you have to wait until the search is done and you have to win your match. In Offline Mode, if you have seized every area, then defeating a team each time nets you 2 cards. So you’re increasing your churn and burn at a 2:1 ratio.
I’ve been playing on Team Heralds and when we won the first campaign, the rewards isn’t cards.
You get random herald alt colors for 5 characters. 1st weeks, Heralds, I’ve earned Heralds Alt Colors for:
Storm
Hawkeye
Spiderman
Iron Man
Captain America
Oh, and this was on PS3 version, so I’m not sure if this is universal or if everyone else received random characters. I’m going to keep playing until I unlock/earn the Herald alt for my team.

As far as these cards no one has seen online (Serpent or Captain Commando), I have like 2 Serpent cards, a few Silver Samurai, and a couple of Maestro cards.
I’m missing:
Captain Commando
Fantastic Four
Thanos
Mega Man
?

If anyone is having trouble beating the CPU on the hardest difficulty, just use Multiple Man with any damage increasing cards and use Sentinel on point. The CPU absolutely cannot deal with cr.M.
People have problems beating the CPU on the hardest difficulty?
- Rotendo
Of course not! Why would you expect that of me- uh I mean anyone…
I dunno, the CPU can be pretty annoying sometimes with their ability to block absolutely everything and stuff every single one of your moves. Plus it’s a great way of grinding out cards very quickly, cause even if you don’t have trouble with the CPU, they can take a while to beat sometimes. Plus no effort required!
How the F did you get a serpent card?
Just through grinding. Nothing special, really. I know it wasn’t through the top areas, but definitely offline.
Oh, and the last card I also need is Winter Soldier.
I’m almost there!

Here’s a few setups I’ve found for earning rare cards:
Megaman*/FingFangFoom/Mephisto or Mandarin or Captain Blue (Level 3 Capcom Cards)
Mephisto*/FingFangFoom/Professor X (Level 1 Marvel Cards…haven’t found Serpent Yet)
Here’s a deck if you wanna be a total jerk:
Mandarin*/FingFangFoom/Dr.Wily
Also, I’m trying to build some good regen based decks for Low HP characters.
Enchantress*/Rogue/Blade
Blade*/Rogue/Enchantress
Good leecher, you can swap Blade out for Enchantress if you’re fighting more female teams (i.e. Phoenix).
My current teams consist of:
Zero/Vergil/Strider
Morrigan/Hsien-Ko/Phoenix
Morrigan X-Factor’d 5H>2L>5H loop can perfect most A.I. once you lock them down and they stop “Advancing Guard”. If they’re still blocking 5H>5H>2L will make them mess up blocking most of the time, or at least catch them in the act of calling an assist.
One more thing: FingFangFoom and Phoenix don’t really work all that well if you’re not good at taking advantage of her during X-Factor…once Jean goes Dark Phoenix, FingFangFoom is gone for about a Meter’s worth, so you have to build up a meter to get X-Factor back again.
So yeah, right now I’m trying to find the perfect balance of meter gain and HP recovery for my Zero/Vergil/Strider team.
GrandMaster*/GrandMaster/Silver Surfer kinda works…maybe, if I hold back on Hyper combos at least. I don’t have Watcher yet so I can’t be sure what’s good.
Also…I tried this resurrection build:
Nick Fury*/Sakuya/Luke Cage
Isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Even if I’m down to just Strider and hammering away during X-Factor Ouroboros, a good regen team can Time-Up me and I’d still lose. And characters like Nemesis can do one or two hits that exceed the damage limit of Nick Fury and I’m done. I might try the super armor version with Steven Chapman…
I’ve got a few decks of my own that I use just to dick around with in Training Mode while I do more card hunting in H&H.
►** Batsu Ichimonji** / Princess / Captain Blue (aka the “Fatal Finish” deck)
SUMMARY: Start with three meters right off the bat; the attack power of your Hyper Combos become ***MAX!***, and your Hyper Combos get the maximum number of hits automatically. Fun characters to try this with: Haggar and Magneto… oh, and give Phoenix Wright’s Level 3 a try with this; you may be pleasantly surprised… here’s a hint—two million damage.
►** Edward (Falcon) Fokker** / Multiple Man / Sakuya (aka the “Last Man Standing” deck)
SUMMARY: So basically, you’re just fighting with the same character three times over. That is, until you get to the last of your three lives, where you get constant health and meter regeneration and a major power boost during X-Factor.
►** Lin** / Daredevil* / Mephisto (aka the “Combofiend” deck)
SUMMARY: Spam projectiles. Spam ALL the projectiles.
Ryu (while spamming Hadoukens)? "HADOU-ADOU-ADOU-ADOU-ADOU -ADOU -ADOU-ADOU-ADOU-ADOU…"
Sentinel (L and M Sentinel Forces)? "SENTINEL! SENTINEL! SENTINEL! SENTINEL! SENTINEL! SENTINEL! SENTINEL!"
Dormammu (charging his best Dark Spells)? “POW-POW-POW! RUN…! POW-POW-POW! HA~ HA HA HA!”
Has anyone recorded the exact effects of using the Megaman card on “charge attacks”?
These are the attack that I think MIGHT be affected…
-Zero’s Buster
-C. Viper’s Focus Attacks
-Amaterasu’s Glaive Dive and Thunder Edge special
-Chun Li’s Spinning Bird Kick
-Viewtiful Joe’s Voomerang
-Felicia’s Sand Splash
-Hulk’s Gamma Wave
-Taskmaster’s Aim Master (Hold for more arrows?)
-Hawkeye’s Heavy (Hold for more arrows?)
-Shuma Gorath’s Mystic Stare and Mystic Ray
-Firebrand’s Heavy Demon Missile
-Vergil’s Round Trip
How much faster are they?
What properties do they lose?
Did I miss any?
EDIT:
-Thor’s Charged Mighty Strike
Not having Lin yet, I had the exact same idea as this. Only I’d be using Mephisto as a primary rather than Lin for more starting meter and more meter gain over time.
In that list you’re also forgetting Deadpool and L and M Happy Triggers “HAVE GUNS WI- HAVE GUNS WI- HAVE GUNS WI- HAVE GUNS WILL SHOOT!”
Deadpool can do L Happy Trigger canceled into M Happy Trigger, which is cancelled into itself (similar to Spencer’s H Wire Grapple and L followup) and becomes a quasi-infinite on most standing opponents (other than Ammy,RR,Arthur etc) and it just won’t stop until meter dies but that’s what Lin and Mephisto are for.
The same could be said of most of Dante’s attacks, which makes him an even bigger threat with meter. Beehive, in particular, is a real threat, because you already cancel into it from another attack, so you could theoretically just spam the hell out of :dp:+:m:~:m: and win. Maybe throw in Chuck Greene so you can get back a meter or two every 30 hits (and with good timing, that can happen easily).
So far, though, one of my favorite things to do is find new special combinations that I can throw into regular combos.
Like for Ryu, now I can do :dp:+:l: ~ j.:qcb:+:l: after a ground chain, then follow with :l: and another ground chain. Same thing for Akuma—get in close, then you can repeat a chain of :dp:+:h: (two hits) ~ j.:qcb:+:m: as many as four times, followed by a j.:qcf:+:atk::atk:.
I managaed to get all the cards I was missing other than Nina and of course Ser/Cap by losing all the middle areas on purpose and building them up again. Still can’t find Nina anywhere. Saw the com use it for the first time a few days ago.
Tire of all the healing decks I’ve come across, I wanted to see if I could out-power them…so with this deck
Silver Sam/Ulik/Anti-Venom, one hit from Strange into a DHC kills pretty much everyone. Nemesis lives, but he’s REALLLY hurt, which almost always gets me a raw tag into a free combo which KILLS the incoming.
Sam = +3 power, Ulik +1 so power is maxed out. The 3rd slot is a debate for me. I’m at 150% damage with the first 2, now I need a multiplier. 4% guaranteed every 10 secs with Anti-Venom is pretty good, I’d be at 170% by the time half the match is done. Hayato is also a consideration, 4% temporary for every 10 hits is monstrous with Dormamu. I can be (temporarily) at around 200% after one combo. Dr. Wily is an option, but I like to use my meter. Speaking of using meter, Kingpin would be a nice option too. Base 150%, with an upswing of 160% during a hyper. Of course Fou is another option, with an extra xfactor power (for let’s say Dorm) can go from 150% to 180%, 205%, or 230% base on the level of xfactor, and you’ll have another xfactor after that one’s done…
Power is so much fun to play with
…I think I just discovered something veritably huge. I’m not sure if this has been brought up, but Lin affects Hyper Combos as well… ***all ***Hyper Combos. I tested a series of different set-ups in Training Mode, starting all characters with five meters and full health (HC Gauge and life recovery OFF) and using my team of Lin / Daredevil / Mephisto (and one of these days, I plan to replace Daredevil with Serpent—not seeing the opponent’s health is a pain and a half). The thing is, aside from special cancelling, all of these can only work under the condition that they have enough meter to work under normal circumstances.
• Special cancelling only costs you approximately one-third of a meter instead of half a meter.
• Ryu’s Shinku Hadoken only required two-thirds of a meter to pull off; same with C. Viper’s EX Seismic Hammer / Thunder Knuckle / Burning Kicks. The same can also be said of Delayed Hyper Combos and the separate attacks in a Team Hyper Combo. (You still need one full meter to perform a Hyper Combo, and two or three full meters to perform a Delayed or Team Hyper Combo.)
• Level 3 Hyper Combos, such as Akuma’s Shun Goku Satsu, left me with slightly less than three full meters after its activation. In other words, Level 3 Hyper Combos with this build become “Level 2” Hyper Combos. (You still require three meters for a Level 3 Hyper to be performed.)
• Finally, the last thing I was able to test was Phoenix’s Dark Phoenix Rising—instead of five meters, it only wastes about 3½ meters after her resurrection, leaving her just enough for a Healing Field. (However, you still need to have all five meters to activate it)
I dare say that Lin might be one of the best cards in the game just for this.
