Well I got my UMVC3 Vita and I’m waiting till next Tuesday to get my Vita. I’ll try see what has happened. Has anyone tried to incorporate lvl2 and lvl3 Faltine in their combos yet. I’m using Ammy’s Slowdown to create something.

i swear, i’m gonna make a list of my favorite characters in the next game that capcom comes out with, and you guys can watch in amazement as those characters get nerfed to hell and back no matter how low tier they are!
besides graphics, i knew it was asking too much for the vita and console versions to be the same.
Thank you! I’ve got him tiered at high B low A. And I agree, Strange is really demanding and requires precise play and there are some characters that just don’t let him setup his meta. But that doesn’t mean his BS is any less than the rest of the cast.
What do you guys do for incoming mixups with Strange? I wanna try something other than EoA+Assist then Teleport.
i also want to know this. i’ve learned to not do EoA too close to the corner because some characters have air normals that will still hit him and make the eye disappear.
i have a friend that uses EoA, then teleports as the character is coming in. they block the wrong way, land on the eye and he does his jump loops.
maybe you could try illusion since most people press buttons coming in.
The problem with EoA is that it scales the combo. I shuffle back a little so there’s space for me to teleport behind people then I palm EoA+ Teleport
EoA also adds a lot of hitstun decay >.>
Ive been trying to use red grace x2 + teleport. Its worked a few times.
Go with 1 yellow grace+teleport. I find it to be much more effective.

So I decided to take my Strange/Taskmaster/Dormammu team online tonight to try and apply what I’ve learned with Strange in a real battle. I played a first to 10 with a Wolverine/Hulk/Sentinel and my Strange didn’t get a chance to do anything against host Wolverie combined with Drones. What would you guys do here? He just kept using Berserker Slash/Drones and crossing me up, keeping the pressure. I was completely stumped. Any suggestions?
Do you have any assist the can help relieve pressure? Like log trap, tatsu, lariat? It helps to also Palm EoA to lockdown and keep people at bay.

Also for above: Seven Rings of Raggador is really good. It’ll deal a lot of damage to his Sentinel assist and will make him stop calling him out as often, and that will help stop the pressure and then you can focus more on Wolverine and keep him out better. Wolverine w/out assist = much more helpless, but still lookout fr divekicks.

i was also wondering this. if trish and dormammu have tac infinites, strange MUST have one with his impact palm that ignores HSD and damage scaling.
that sentinel drones thing might depend on where wolverine is when the assist is called: if wolvie already has you in blockstun, obviously no 7 rings. maybe you could pushblock wolvie and then use 7 rings. if they’re full screen away, you might want to use vishanti spell. either way, it’s important to hit sentinel. if dr strange is your last character, or he only has wolverine and sentinel left, you can xFactor and kill both of them. i did that online yesterday; it was so cool!
