Fortunately I still had it open in a tab from earlier this morning.

I wonder if we’ll be able to mount an LS-32 in there.

Ooo nice guts pic.
oh the joys of a pcb soldiered directly onto buttons… i wonder if you could just splice those gray wires and make it QDs. hmmm
It’s definitely possible. I don’t know how easy it would be to strip those tiny wires, or what you could use to splice them onto your own wires. I’ve tried similar things before and they always come out like ass.
That joystick uses the same mounting points from the Tekken Sticks doesn’t it? So that means to mount a JLF you have to drill holes through the mounting plate and then find screws long enough to go through to the holes. The screws from the old stick will probably be too short. That’s allowing that the case itself is deep enough for a JLF.
Looks good, but I’ll echo the placement of the start button…even if it does have a lock.
im quite excited about the V3/VX.
From the looks of it you’ll be able to mount a JLF in the same way you mount it in the smaller hori cases, will probably still need to use the Hori Shafts, but that’s not a huge issue.
i cant wait to get my hands on one of these.
Meh V3 is about my only choice anyways…
Dammit, Hori. I am not mounting a JLF/LS32 to plastic.
v3 and vx look alright, madcat fightstick still better than those, cheaper, looks better and easier for modding…
agreed and no qd’s very lame might pass on these hopefully the viewlex one that comes out next year isn’t the same
Maybe that was just a showcase model and the ones that are on sale are QDs…maybe?
lol
i laughed
Hey, a man has to dream…
I’ve modded 3 Fight stick 3/Wii so a VX/V3 shouldn’t be too much of a challenge.
If the Vewlix had this layout instead i would buy one, how it looks now though seems odd - the stick and buttons are way too far to the left
I’m actually kind of curious about this… mainly because it kind of looks like there are mounting holes for something:

We’ll just have to wait till someone gets their hands on one to see what those might could be used for however. but it might provide so good options. fingers crossed
IF that’s the same size stick as on the Fightstick 3/Wii then those holes look like they’d fit a JLF mounting plate. Nice catch.
It looks like Hori really stepped up. I’m really interested in most of these, but especially the Vewlix.
The good ole button PCB. A waste of fiberglass if you ask me.
Anyone happen to have an interior shot of the V3? I imagine its the same, but I wanted to make sure.
