got my stick today also. the stick feels worst than the tekken 5 stick and the buttons are stiff as hell. but overall its pretty decent. nothing a few mods won’t fix
i’ve already swapped out the stock gate with my gt-y from my ex 2 and ill be getting a set of sanwa buttons and im going to relocate the back and start button to the front of the stick rater it being on top of the face plate
Just thought i’d chime in. Definitely feels worse than the ex2. I was expecting at least EX2 quality for this price, even considering the addition of the wireless. Ah well.
Just got my PS3 bundle but I haven’t played it on my PS3 yet. I can confirm that the stick and receiver do work with the PC. I’ve been playing 3rd Strike this sucker and I can also confirm It’s a very sloppy setup, especially with how light the stick is. Also, the actual stick sucks and the buttons suck harder.

Yeah the PS3 is plug and play with PC (Why couldn’t Madcatz manage that?). It seems the firmware for this stick is designed for more buttons than it actually has. Guess at some point in the design phases it was going to have R3 and L3.
If this stick can be modded into a halfway descent offering I’d really like it for the ease of transport and PC functionality.
Replacing the buttons shouldn’t be to hard, but what’s the best option for this stick. Where do I get these Cherry Microswitches?
Thanks for all the posts about the quality of this stick. I was really concerned about it, considering how much it was here in Australia ($270AUD for the bundle which is roughly $245USD). I just went down to ebgames (T6 isnt out till the 5th of Nov here ) and changed my pre-order from the arcade stick bundle to the limited edition one instead. Saved me $120AUD in doing this, which I’ll put into a MvC TE stick when they are out.

the holes on the faceplate where the buttons go have the same tabs that the t5 hori did. you have to grind them down before they will accept 30mm buttons.
does anyone else think that the stick makes a slight rubbing/grinding sound when being moved around?

Can we get pics of the inside right of this stick? Does the big PCB take care of all the processing or is there another PCB in there that it connects to? Just how much can be discarded?

Anyway, I got a question. Do you know if this stick will work for PS1 and PS2 games on a backwards compatible PS3?

i got all my asuka combos i got down like
f+2, 2,3 1+4 2,1, 1+2, ff df+1,2 ff b+2,1,3 easily
it feels like an EX2 pretty much as expected, not sure why I really picked up the bundle. I have 4 other 360 compatible sticks so I don’t think this one would ever make the rotation.

The only mod people should be worrying about right now is attaching velcro to the usb device and your stick. You will thank me later. 
I didn’t get any of the preorder goodies either. I talked to the manager and salesmen and they both told me they didn’t get their shipment and told to come back later with the recipient. So I hoping to get that download content and other free shit. If not, gonna to whine like never before
