Hori tekken 6 stick

you can call namco, and explain the problem, maybe possible.

Thanks for the reference bro,

I received a reply back from HORI however they wanted me to send the whole stick back for warranty-repair but I seeing as how I've modified mine I opted to wait until I had ~30minutes of down time at home. So yesterday I cracked open the T6 Hori and found the Pins for the Wireless Transceiver were 1/2 way in out their respective sockets pm the main PCB. This could of happen just by heavy use of the controller and throwing it around the couch and papasan lol. So I reseated the pins, and also found a short between one of the components on the main PCB and problem solved.:razzy:

The light stick is back in service, now I want to dual mod this controller as well as my Hori Namco T2 stick.

I’ve been using an hori t6 for about 4 months now, I swapped out the buttons and stick when i first got it, with exception to the start/select.

The other day i decided to swap out the start/select, and now the stick wont turn on at all.

I have a spare t6 that i pulled the pcb, and confirmed that the pcb is to blame.

Any ideas what could have happened to the pcb?
I disconnect the buttons before i soldered them off, so i dont know how it could have shorted…

Pmed

So I just bought a 6 button set of Sanwa OBSF-30 B (Sky Blue). My question is, would I beable to just put those buttons in with the PCB already in there, or will I have to remove the PCB entirely and rewire the entire controller?

Desolder old Buttons.
Remove old Buttons.

Modify Control Panel.
Insert new Buttons.

Solder wires to Button Terminals.
Connect to PCB by soldering

Or modify Button Terminals.
Then solder to PCB.

Template no much but try make some thing new for fight stick just got other day here .psd file and 2 pic what looks like:

Trying work on creating more templates.

Here is my Tekken 6 stick with remove artwork and Seimitsu LS-56 joystick. I mounted the stick directly to the surface of the stick so it mounts as high as possible. The battop sucks the bottom shaft up just enough for the shaved shaft not to hit the bottom of the sanded hole.

@therpbin

Nice I like it alot without the art on it. Wait a minute my bro has that fridge!

I recently picked up the T6 bundle for $45 shipped. Brand new. Couldn’t pass that up since I have been stickless for a while. I’m surprised by how much I like the physical form of it. Feels really good. Perfect size for my preferences and nice weight. Wireless that actually works pretty well is a definite perk. I think I’ll keep it.

Buuuuut… it’s not perfect. Definitely feels better than my stock FightStick SE did, but it’s not quite there. I’ve done some of my own stick work before (dual-modded a Mayflash and went full Sanwa/Seimitsu over a year ago), but this one looks a little more tricky. I’ve been working my way through this thread, but 32 pages is a lot of stuff to sort through to find the relevant information, so please forgive me if I ask something obvious.

My plan is to leave most of the stick intact. I want to replace the pushbutton switches themselves with Sanwa SW-68s since, as I understood from some of jdm’s posts here and elsewhere, that should be pretty easy to do. I’ve not taken apart a pushbutton before, though, so what’s the key to doing that?

Then, I want to follow meanbeanmax’s lead and get the stick itself feeling a little better without completely replacing it. Better spring and octogate designed for the JLF should be nice. As for the switches, I was thinking that I would use some Sanwa MS-O-2Ps. I saw this come up in another thread, though, and it seems that the Sanwa branded switches and the switches already in the Hori are both manufactured by OMRON. In light of this, will there actually be a noticeable difference in performance by making the swap of those switches?

But I’m jdm714.
This is me.
I am here.

Then I hope you know how to remove the Microswitch, even with no pictures.

Ah. That was what I needed. Guess I didn’t dig enough. My bad. Thanks for the links.

Has anyone tried to combine: the Tekken t6 wireless 360 internals + imp + a MC Cthulhu with rj45 neutrik console cables. Has this mod been done before?

My dongle for the stick recently broke (went to remove it from ps3 and the usb pin stayed in the ps3 and the black part came straight off.). would it be possible to fix this? is there anything i can buy that will sync the stick with the ps3?

Can any body give me a quick “how to” about just changing the square gate on the joystick itself to a Sanwa GT-Y Octagonal Restrictor Plate. (I dont really trust myself about the soldering and the desoldering of the buttons lol)

very easy . remove the stock plate buy removing the four screws and there should be snap tabs on the each side just pry the the snap clips and should pull right off. when you install the gty gate you have to drill out the holes in the gty gate just align the gate screw back in the screws and your set

Thanks man oh and btw can anybody give me a link where i can buy the screwdriver to open this baby up oh and possibly the size needed for the screwdriver

Hi,

first of all pls excuse my english, I am from germany and my last english class was years ago.

I recently got the ps3 version of this stick from ebay and now I want to mod it.
I`ve read through the all the pages of this thread and got a basic idea how to get it working but there are still a few questions i hope you can help me with.

I want to mod this thing wit a Sanwa JLF. Already read that the stick will touch the surface of the case but can anybody tell me about how many mm ? I wouldn`t mind to drill a hole in the bottom, just wanna now if i could put some sort of plastic ring foot under the end of the stick and the corners so it will not touch my desk.

If I understood right, the buttons ground can be daisy chained and be wired directly to the chip but the stick cant. Because i dont want to fully destroy the JLF`s microswitch PCB, I would like to replace it with the stock microswitches. Just wonder if they will fit and what you guys think of their quality. Are these the same Omrons I can buy on akibarashop or some copy only with the name printed on ?

Thanks in advance.

Actually if you are patient you should be able to open it with a flat screwdriver. Worked for me. Although the last one seemed to be screwed in by the devil himself  .

This worked for me:

Amazon.com: Tri-Wing / Cross Wing Magnetic Screwdriver Set: Home Improvement: Reviews, Prices & more

You basically need a “tri-wing” bit or screwdriver to remove them.

I have a HRAP that I ripped the art off of. I really regret it because now I have a layer of this sticky rubber cement crap and I have no idea on the best way of removing it. I tried WD40 and Goo Gone and it helps loosen it up but I was wondering if anyone has done this or has a good idea of what to try?

I want to try sand paper but that’s going to ruin it. :shake: I should have just used spray paint lol
