BTW, I just bought the stick on Amazon. Warehouse deal (beat up box). Arrived to find that it was literally just that, a beat up box. T6, the stick, the book, everything was in mint, untouched condition. 48$ couldn’t be beat.
I can confirm that this stick works just fine with the Microsoft wireless receiver for PC. I have been using it on my HTPC to play MAME and it’s pretty sweet and love that fact that it is wireless so can be passed around easily or played from whatever couch I decide to sit on
Button not working properly
One of my buttons sometimes doesn’t work when I press it on the Tekken 6 ps3 fighstick. Wondering if these was an easy fix or if I should just get a new stick. Thanks!
After having the stick for a few days now, my impression is no good. Disconnects too often or gets stuck in one direction (not physically). Buttons randomly stop working too. I’m gonna buy a TE in a week, fuck this noise.
So whats up with modding the PS3 one? I was reading the modding the Xbox one, and kept reading that its different. Haven’t gotten through the whole thread but if someone wants to direct me to it I’d be grateful.

there you go dude.
How did you get your art to stick? (and on what did you print it)
And also since i’m a stick “n00b” id very much like if someone posted a pic on how to solder the buttons (which wire goes where etc)
i just modded my t6 today with sanwa buttons and sanwa ball top… here’s pics. my first time ever soldering but i did decent =P
I got mine a couple months ago on amazon new with game $79.99
it’s still going for that price so if you didn’t have T6 you could’ve for only 30 more
i was planning to change the button only, its done, then i close the bottom case. and suddenly my stick not sending any signal, the usb receiver is still blinking, until now i still dont undestand whats going wrong, i think it was closed circuited. so i decided to remove all the button, stick, and board, for stick and button i use sanwa as usual. the for the board i use 6axis board, all works like a charm. i also ahnge the art paper ;). i love this arcade stick, its perfect for me (light, compact, all sanwa, and its wirelles)

ps: sorry for my bad engllish, hope u understand
Wow, now that’s maybe the ultimate Tekken-stick. But it would have loked so much better with only four buttons. How did you do all that? What is the case?
if you know how to solder and have the equipment maybe you should. my sanwa buttons as seen above made a huge difference. i plan on replacing the switches and spring and it should be pretty solid. i paid about $25 for the buttons and ball top
okay i NEEDZ help.
heres the story.
i have 2 of these sticks, one of which i already modded with new buttons…
but for the second one, i went ahead and made a new box out of MDF for the parts inside. (i plan on ripping EVERYTHING from that wireless stick and putting them inside the MDF box.
what i need help on is how i can transfer all of the parts except for the buttons and joystick (which i am going to replace with sanwa JLF and OBSF)
how would i go and perform the joystick switch? the microswitches aren’t QD so can anybody help with this? >__>
That’s an awesome mod. The artwork fits perfectly.
I would have used 6 bottons instead of all 8 though. Great job.
Any recommendations on how to properly change the art work?
i want to fix the huge dead zone… already replaced switches, spring, and pivot piece… ugh it still has a huge dead zone… any ideas? should i order that piece that holds the spring for like a sanwa one?
I’m starting by being honest:
I didn’t read through all 19 pages of this thread, so I’m asking the following:
I’m planning on buying the Tekken 6+Arcadestick bundle and selling the game (I never liked the Tekken series to begin with, but that’s a different story).
That would get me the stick for about 40-60?, depending on how high I’m able to resell the game.
My questions are:
- Is the stick itself halfway descent? I’m still fairly new to arcade sticks (got to play with one for the very first time on saturday when I was playing a few BemUs on Dreamcast, and I could tell that the stick I used had seen its better times which are long over by now)
- Is there any lag on the x360 stick?
- Is the stick moddable?
- If so, how hard is it to mod it?
- Is there any information on what kind of parts are used in this stick? (Sanwa/Seimitsu parts or something completely different?)
I hope that I’m not asking too much questions at once.
But I still hope I get some of them answered soon
Thanks for any anwers regarding my questions
Ok don’t flame me if it’s already been mentioned or explained, I’m trying to see if I can put a wii classic controller into this stick, I I woul be able to just straight solder wires to the contacts or if ther would have to be a mediary in between. I was also thinking about a switch to cut the power from the batteries (I know I could just take the batteries out, but a switch would be a nice adition) also I was wanting to see about trying QD’s for the xbox portion so that I could easily switch out sanwas or replacements. Cause it’s a bitch at times to swap a button, had to do it on my buddies ex2 stick. I’m pretty well versed on ps3 and 360 sticks, I’ve made quite a few but never tried wii or cross platform pn a Japanese stick, always used made my own boxes and madcats controller to make sticks
Hi i just got the Hori Tekken 6 Stick last week i like the parts but i wanted to just swap out the Restrictor Plate and add a bat. Can i swap out the Hori base for the Sanwa JLF-P-2 BASE and just add the Sanwa GT-Y Octagonal Restrictor Plate?
Just got my T6 Stick and thought I would show off how I fixed it. (after about 30 seconds of using it and not liking the feel) Be merciful as this is my first post here also.
I replaced the junk slopstick with a Seimitsu LS-33 and Sanwa OBSN-30/24 Buttons (Yes, back and start too):

And here’s the money shot:

I epoxied the stick in place and had to dremel the bottom of the stick down for Clearance. Those buttons were murder on my fingers screwing down after dremeling the holes because I’m assuming the spacing is closer than usual on this stick and it was a tight fit.
Here’s a better look at the strip so I can change the button layout when I change the artwork:

I just used a strip of old IDE cable which is great for cleaning up rats nests of wires like my first wiring up pictured below, which I wasn’t happy with:

Lemme know what you think, as this is my first (of many I’m sure) real stick mods/fixes… Although I tend to do this kind of stuff with everything I own usually.
Also, what’s a good place/price for getting some decent custom vinyl artwork printed out?
