Alot of Japanese people descended from the Chinese, they took their culture with them and it got changed or evolved over the years.
Accusing the Japanese of “raping” Chinese writing is accusing Standard American English of raping British English, or Mexican Spanish of Raping Castilian Spanish.
Dude, you have no idea what you’re talking about. Do you even speak Japanese and Chinese?
In many ways, American English did not rape British English, in fact they did the opposite, they made the language more logical in many spelling aspects, but the two language is the virtually the same… Hello?
The usage of Chinese Characters in Japanese is just so forced. The Japanese attached their own readings and borrowed readings from China numerous times. The Kanji system is so fucked up is not even funny. Eg, 生 has one reading in Chinese, but 11 readings in Japanese NOT including official name readings…
What ever dude, we are derailing the thread here, this is suppose to be about Hori’s own joystick not a lecture in linguistics.
My objection is how you are generating some country’s language in what many feel is a really offensive manner.
Ok um, the spring turned out to be toooooo loose while playing in a small gathering I went to tonight. So I took it out and put in the spring from my tekken 5 stick which is stiffer than the jlf spring I put in it before and was still too loose.
I did the old 2 spring in the actuator trick, now its kinda too stiff but eh, better than too loose.
CORRECTION, I took out one of the springs since it was too stiff for srk’s, and left this random one in I have no idea which one of my sticks it came from and now it controls just fine with it in there.
Just wanna toss my $0.02 in from messing with a used HHS I got this weekend.
THE GOOD
[] Injustice Bat-top fits fine.
[] JLF Shaft-cover fits fine.
[] JLF Dust-cover small diameter (with no shaft cover, duh!) fits fine.
[] JLF Dust-cover large diameter (with shaft cover, duh!) fits fine.
[] PAS JLF 3lbs Custom-spring fits fine.
[] PAS JLF 4lbs Custom-spring fits fine.
[] PAS JLF 6lbs Custom-spring fits fine.
[] PAS JLF 0.5mm Oversized Actuator fits fine.

PAS JLF 1.0mm Oversized Actuator fits fine.
THE BAD

PAS JLF 2.0mm Oversized Actuator doesn’t fits. Rim of actuator hits microswitches’ actuating button. I cannot compress the assembly to install the E-clip without modifications.

HHS does not fit with HRAP3 stick/layout. Joystick terminal connector overlaps with the “Jab” button area. I cannot connect the joystick and “Jab” button at the same time without modifications. Perhaps using Seimitsu PS-15’s or rotating the HHS assembly and its wiring will work.

HHS does not fit with HRAP NX stick/layout. Joystick terminal connector overlaps with the cavity/hole in the body of the joystick. Perhaps rotating the HHS assembly and its wiring will work.
The 2.0 is not meant for stock switches in either the JLF or Hayabusa. It’s meant for silent switches with a much deeper activation.
@OrochiDemon putting your spring on like that will kill the feeling of the stick. It might fight around the shaft, but it won’t behave proper since the spring flange needs to be able to move. You can use a LS-55 spring which I detailed way back on the first page or two. Or, buy a PAS custom spring.
Yeah it feels like a seimitsu stick now. But I think this is the spring from a Q1 stock stick.
I had the H spring in a different stick thats been stiff so it evened it out. Well, I put i back in the Hayabusha and now its not as loose. So now Im happy.
What’s the cheapest possible way to get a Hayabusa stick in Canada? Canadian joystick doesn’t sell it, and they told me their supplies don’t have it either.
Does Hayabusa fit in the budget fight stick V3? It doesn’t look like you can remove the mounting plate because it’s built into the stick base.
A. Make buddies with someone in the US.
B. You can also try Paradise Arcade or Akishop they offer the Hori Hayabusa joystick and they ship internationally.
Does Hayabusa fit in the budget fight stick V3?
No. At least not without some serious modding
The Hayabusa is designed to go in most sticks that already can support the Sanwa JLF with the flat mounting plate
Yeah, i ordered the G-40M that time from Etokki cause i (and everybody) used to think both Sanwa and Seimitsu work with same grease, and the G-30M in same time that i got from Ebay. When i applied 40M on a LS-56, it was visibly different from the factory lube. I got the 30M couple days later and i found similar to the original, then i thought it’s the one actually used by Seimitsu…this was a mistake.
Today i can assure you that Sanwa use G-40M (i think they are not against 30M use for JLF instead) and the G-501 is used by Seimitsu.
The G-40M, 30M, 501, Molykote 44 works fine on JLF since the stick is smooth itself, Sanwa put some effort on it, there is even an antifriction metal washer on JLF (maybe on JLW too). In the other hand Seimitsu not provide same quality material and every lubricated pivot model stick feels a bit grindy in comparison with Sanwa’s, it gets better with time tough.
So, speaking from my personal experience today, i feel every grease a bit sticky except the G-501 which according with its description, is the best choice for plastic lubrication, so the not sticky feeling from G-501 helps a lot on Seimitsu sticks mainly for LS-56 (and variants) and the LS-40 once both have more friction due the more covered up pivot from the base.
Shin-Etsu G-501 is amazing, very recommended for plastic and i believe Seimitsu knows that very well, but if other Shin-Etsu works fine as well lubing the JLF, the same would happen with the Hayabusa.
