I’m starting to get it, but I’m just not quite fast enough yet. Thanks for the vids, those helped a ton!
And ariez that sounds like it will really help. I’m gonna start doing your tapping exercises lol.
^ yes tapping exercises really does help out a lot. I don’t own a system to play on, nor are there any arcades that have street fighter 4 here in San Diego, and with the help of the tapping exercises, I got down the c.lp xx HHS consistantly down in a week.
Hi,
i was watching the vids maybe 20 times in 1 week but i still don’t get it.
I do c.lp, hp, mp, lp , hp but it doesnt’ work :
Wath the f***?
Do we have to be really really close to the opponent ?
Do we have to put the stick forward ?
My buttons sanwa are broken ?
Please give me the clue,
thank you
I don’t want to sound like a dick but there’s a video about it…
My bad : * i was watching the vido maybe 20 times un 1 week but i still don’t get it.
I don’t understand english very well, so i’m wondering if there something i don’t focus on in your vido while you explain the method.
Ok first off you’re going to wanna work on getting your fingers ready to tap out the five inputs. If you check out some of the other posts they mention muscle memory.
Try listening to the sound from the buttons and match that with your fingers. Tap :lp: then :hp: :mp: :lp: (As the roll back) then :hp: to finish it off. Don’t do it too fast or too slow. It simple won’t work.
For the time being just work on doing standing :lp: into hands on the training dummy. Once you get that down then you can start working on the crouching :lp: Version. Baby steps my son.
Thank you dady, i’m gonna work on this.
Daddyyyyy
damn i quit.
i’ m training about 15min a day for 10days and i didn’t come out a lp.hhs even ONCE !
You guys are my gods…
C.mk -> hands
Oi lads!
hope this is the right place to put this, but I’ve made a little tutorial of going from c.mk -> hands.
[forgot to put in the link >.<]
The reason I made the film is because i had problems sliding down with the knuckle of my index finger, Thus i modified it.
It’s really easy when you’ve got the hang of it. I hope this helps abit.
if there’s anything i should clarify please tell me, or leave a comment. (leave a comment anyway it’s fun ^^)
Toodels!
Having taken my Honda so far, I really need to learn hands - thanks for the vids lads, I’m trying both methods out and they’re much appreciated.
A quick question - What would be the optimal buttons for the each technique, or is it simply a matter of preference?
(I have stock SE buttons that I’m looking to swap out for Sanwas.)
When you get Sanwas, it will definitely become easier to do hands, I had trouble when I first started learning hands on my stock SE stick as well… but as soon as I got the sanwa buttons… it became 10x easier. Just practice the motion that feels best for you, and you will get it.
shouts to mrsnk. i tried ur method and i’m already pulling it off quite easily
Got bored while visiting my parents, decided to make a video showing a few ways to cancel into:hp:HHS. Hope this is helpful.

very nice video man… good shit right there…
I do believe you can link s.mp (target combo) into a c.lp xx HHS though… I think I have seen it done, I dunno, I cant really test it out because I dont have a system to play on, lol.
Maybe already posted as a method, but never see anyone mention this way.
piano - lp, mp, hp then touble tap hp. If you start crouching you get c.lp xx HHS. For me it saves going back up and down the buttons and also avoids accidental EX Hands.
I start with my index finger on c.lp, middle finger mp, third finger HP and then double tap the HP with my third finger (next to little finger).
Works a treat for me but the key is getting a way that suits you as many people have already said on here, which is why I had to drop the other methods as the muscles in my hands just could not get it.
Getting hands has made my Honda way more competitive and I now have a ready made block string with chip damage from c.lk, c.lk, c.lp xx HHS. You watch top players now and its all about slow walk down pressure and punishing with Hands more than headbutt combos. It also sets up you Oichio options from the ground more. Watching Vids of Akimo and Mike Ross 8 months ago to now and its light and day as to what Honda’s best weapons are.
Got it down today as well…the way it feels to me is that you kara/plink the HP after the first LP, else it’s too slow. Now my friends Akuma is really dead, no more free shoryukens for him, lol.
Any chance for videos on how to do (buttons) for linking HHS with c.LP and for linking HHS with another (looks like both are HP HHS) so you can do the super? And maybe buttons for the FADC after HHS. Seems to me that you have to do it really quick…is it worth the extra damage? I mean, I see it used for putting in an Ochio, which is big damage, but is that Ochio jumpable? Not that most people will jump it on reaction though.
Once I get a camera I was planning on making a series of videos on honda techniques, similar to the FP.HHS one I made. All of them would include hands and screen seperately so that any questions can be answered. I just gotta get a camera. I’m also going back through and editing the shit out of that honda guide I wrote. I think I have some useful information in it.
I thought it is not hard to do 10 hits combo without using a turbo, slide, or pineo methods. All you need is ONE finger (my method way) to do it. I would have shared it with u guys a months ago but lazy to post it. Sorry!!!
have my way,
Jumping HP, LP, LP (it won’t hit anything), HP (tap 4 times), hold forward or back HK
