I found it was easier pressing lp, mp, hp, lp, hp instead of lp, hp, mp, lp, hp.
That helped me a lot. I can get the HHS to combo from 1 jab every time now, and can combo into the super with it, which is fun! Although unlikely to happen in a real match
Hope that helps!
So you’d have to see, choose an appropriate reaction and output a decision.
Therefore you’re talking significantly longer than the initial reaction time.
This is my explanation of why somepeople appear talented and others simply will never acheive that same level despite unlimited practice.
Either way 1/4 of a second sounds realistic
well if i’m blocking a string of combos and throw out ex headbutt it comes out later…this is even more apparent when you block an ultra and reversal ultra…look at a game like mvc2 where inputs happen instantly
I’m not saying input lag is or isn’t present if fact i think alot of people would agree that it is there in some form. I’m saying that just because something has a visual cue and theoretically you could react the fact that there is both a choice time and the time it takes your brain nerves and muscles to act stops this from being practical.
Basically that is the definition of muscle memory however it can never be completely eliminated only minimised through practice.
People are too fast to blame an external source, in this case the game and input lag, when there are other factors aswell.
that’s usually because you’re still in block stun. but the window for executing a move in this game is so huge that it still comes out.
in st if you did the same thing, the move just wouldn’t come out at all because the input window is smaller.
go in training mode and turn on the inputs and do it. you’ll notice the input is recognized right away but sometimes the move won’t come out until a little later (when block stun or move recovery is over).
