Was Cody always able to connect Ultra 1 after a high-juggling Anti-Air t.HK? I was just messing around in training and noticed it can blow up neutral jumps pretty easily. But… as Cody is… it’s very situational.

Just found a safe jump setup.
EX. ruffian > fake rocks > neutral jump (hold up) mk (you can do neutral jump hp if your opponent was cornered)
Works on 5f reversals. Not sure about 4f ones.
after trying the above safe jump on other characters, I found out the neutral jump mk doesn’t connect vs guy and probably others. Vs these characters, you should do forward jump mk to cross them up.
dunno, can be nice to mix up vs opponent that allready know the other setups (which is rarly) but I think f.hk (5f+) and s.lp, dash (4f+) is allready enough for ex ruffian - nice find tho. wish we’d find some reliable setups for other stuff like hp cu or lk ruffian.

Looks like one of the lessons to take from this is to not use C.MK much as an antiair. It hit her ONCE, and got beat out EVERY other time.
Not vs Makoto anyway. Cr. mk is a great AA other wise
The characters I hate AAing the most are Makoto, T. Hawk and Blanka. Fucking T.Hawk has the weirdest hitbox in the air, he shrinks to 1/10 of his size.

You can see Sasaki doing an OS on Makoto’s wake-up twice this game. If she blocks, EX CU comes out, which she can probably punish with U2 (EX Hayate too?). Back dash or EX Oroshi makes her eat dust. Seems like cr.lk x EX CU would be fast enough to beat EX Karakusa, though I wouldn’t know for sure.
