Help With Photoshop, Etc

edit didn’t work :stuck_out_tongue:

got too happy before posting

Edit: Yay.

[Had an explanation, but then your post popped up.]

^ go ahead please!

Okay! :china:

Anyhoo, you might run into a moment when you create a canvas, but you notice that you cannot drag an image INTO it. Usually this is because the image is in INDEX mode, and you need to change that into RGB.

For example, take this pic.

If you RIGHT CLICK :r: SAVE AS to your desktop or something and open it in Photoshop, you may not be able to move that into your canvas [or at least I couldn’t].

That’s because it is in INDEX mode. To change it to RGB, go to IMAGE:r:MODE:r: then change it to RGB. Afterwards, you can drag that image to your canvas.

Note: If you can just drag that image straight out without the RGB method, then it must be my shop. :shake:

Hope that helps in the future!

SPECIAL NOTE!

IMAGE is located in your command menu, next to FILE, EDIT, etc.

^ ok I got it mos def. :lovin:

the Teknik hasn’t been sweated yet

W’chout now! You sure it worked now?

If you need help, just let this thread know.

The more questions, the better. For reals.

YEP! IT WORKED! :lovin:

ok thanks! Ill be sure to ask questions when Im stuck.

another question how would I and whats the best way to resize an image on a canvas?

**Teknik Edit:**I figured it out! what I had to do was hold CTRL+T and hold shift to resize the image so it wont get distorted :karate:

how do I add downloaded brushes to photoshop?

Open up your BRUSHES menu and click that small arrow in a circle, which will open a menu that has the LOAD option. From there, LOAD the brushes that you have downloaded.

I dunno if that’ll help you out there. Might need a visual.

Visual assist anyone?

[Note: You can also put them in the BRUSHES FOLDER, which is located in your MY COMPUTER :r: LOCAL DISK :r: PROGRAM FILES :r: ADOBE :r: PHOTOSHOP :r: BRUSHES or some shit. I can’t recall at the moment. :(]

got it! I manually put them in the brushes folder

Stencil Making Tutorial

Ok… I need help, I have a quick AV I made for Srk but them the Quality goes crap when I upload it… Anyone know how to make it the best quality as possible when uploading it?

Does anyone know of any good Silhouette brushes that have people running in them?

Well it says it’s 20.44kb for me so maybe if you save it as a .png8 type it’d fit. . .

of what?

Uh, what? You know, a photoshop silhouette brush that includes runners.

If the RESOURCES link in the spoilers [in the first post] doesn’t have it, you could always just make your own runner brushes.

Do you mean that the quality doesn’t look as good as when you have the PSD open in photoshop? If so, a screen cap of what it should look like can help for comparison. Uploading the PSD file for sharing might also help, so others can try to look at the problem for themselves.

Yeah, but I was just hoping someone could point me to one they knew about. Oh wellz.
