I eat green berets for breakfast!
No offense to the psn crowd but back when I played on it he was really the only person I had an impossible time against. His footsies with chun and guile was nasty.
I recorded some stuff while I was at Thelo’s for a tournament last weekend and he suggested I post the videos here.

Thelo is da mayne , mäd respect <3
wow, that’s an old video - sorry i haven’t been on srk much. i’m flattered, but trust me papasi, i am not “paul eath” (and i’m average at best). it’s somewhat interesting though how a nobody can get lucky and do some damage, huh? if you only knew the whole story, it actually gets more interesting than that (well for some at least). i’m curious, i wonder if i was him, would the points i make on this forum hold more weight? haha - probably not
Absolutely not
But if you were paul, I think people would be very interested to see your return to play against the like of john choi and co, using their stick of choice, on a non laggy console and lagfree monitor.
Although I don’t have XBL no more, you should make your gamertag public coz I bet a lot of people here would like to play with you.
Or if you live close to bay area and are down to some offline matches, pm me and we’ll make sure to keep you posted.
So it sounds like you know paul eath?
ok you’re just fooling with us.
who is the guy in the video playing john choi and graham?
the host called him “paul eath”. apparently it’s a fake name?
are you the guy in the video playing john choi and graham?
Edit: lol snk-player deleted his post
snk-player, do you go by the name Aldwin, aka “Paul Eath”? Are you the same person seen bungee jumping in this video:

Did you also go by the name “PAUL_3874” on PSN? And were you trying to add to your own mystique with your post in this thread:
1st off, if anyone is to add to their mystique on any game, i think they would have to keep playing the game and entering tourneys, accepting challenges, etc. people don’t gain props for say, playing basketball, if they are known for their random hobbies in chess or other.
the tournament and everything around it etc, it’s an inside joke among a handful of people who post here and other forums.
why are you guys so curious about that anyway? is it really that interesting? let’s put it this way - (full story is best left unsaid, but from what i heard) the gamespot event presented an interesting opportunity of sorts, some people took a big gamble, without really thinking much of the outcome, but because of the way it turned out - it was worth it, for that 1 time only. but the result also somewhat prevented any more future appearances, because otherwise “wtf questions” might be raised. if the fine details would have been double/triple checked, the outcome would not have been. and besides, you hear it in his interview “it was all luck”.
btw, regarding the tournament, i don’t think there was any lag, and if there was - it wasn’t an issue for paul eath or graham wolfe. they both used charge characters, and i would think the lag issue would affect them moreso, but they did well reaching that final match. if anything, i think choi was more affected by the joystick setup… and let’s face it, some people can get really lucky in 1 match. had the lag been a real issue, i doubt graham would have been so confident about winning easily.
also, that guy doesn’t really care much for tournaments these days - if he did hewould’ve have shown up by now don’tyou think? he’smaybe entered 1 or 2 of these hdr things. and also, although that guy won the tournament, he never claimed to be better than the people he beat that day - none of them. and oh yeah, i know paul eath
p.s. - don;t believe everything you read or see on the internet =)
well too bad. since you support this game on here, you could have helped promote it if you or your friend paul eath would attend more tourney than just that one off appearance. maybe hdr would be more popular if there are more `unknown’ people beating other known top players.
dgv noticed lag with the vga/lcd setup that we used @ ncr, while a bunch of other people didn’t. not until yesterday did i found out that it is lagging 2 frames behind (using camera/led to test)
so when john choi said the display lag affected his performance, i would believe him. he’s a veteran as far as competing at tournaments goes. but then of course the jap stick would screw him up even more.
I always forget that you can cancel a little bit of sumo smash wiff recovery with a ochio. He hit Exposed with it a few times. Nice stuff.
Huh, is that what it is. I get hit by this all the time and it’s frustrating.
Thelo never fails to amaze me.
Such an awesome player.
