I’m almost positive the unblockable 360 + K works on knock down. So far I’ve tested it with knock down ryu then doing 360 + K on his wake up while they are holding crouch and it will throw them. I’ve also tested ryu trying to wake up DP and also wake up LKs to get out of it and it still throws. Obviously I still need to do more testing but so far its looking really promising, if this actually works I would also assume it will work for super which is really nice.

When getting up from a knockdown, there is a frame where a character is considered standing, even if you’re holding crouch-block. 360+K can be used to grab them with the proper timing even if they anticipate it. Of course, they could probably just jab or do some reversal to stuff the 360+K.

I let me rephrase that. I’m asking if the auto-tech f.HK only works on normal throws.

Yes because command throws cannot be teched at all, they don’t have the capacity to even be teched

That’s what I thought. Just making sure is all so stupid me doesn’t go trying it against a another grappler

I tested this with my friend trying to reversal and it still worked. I didn’t try jab but i did try LK so I’ll see what Jab does next.

please look back in the threads, this was mentioned a while ago.

As far as I could gather it was unsolved and people didn’t think it was possible or it could be countered by hitting something, I was posting to say so far everything has worked out with Hakan throwing for free off a knock down.

Does your setup beat out reversal srk’s and falling sky’s as well?

Hakan is getting better and better.

Oh and I’m totally using U2 for now. Revenge of the flowcharts kind of forces me to.

I haven’t tested falling sky but so far reversal DP doesn’t come out, and they get thrown.

could this theoretically mean that Hakan can just throw most characters 100%?

wot situations should i be using oil rocket? i never seem to use it in a match with slide n follow up being v good should i be lookin to use ex oil rocket on my wakeup? if they miss something meaty? i just dont know wen i should be using it any tips?

Yeah, you can time a meaty ddt such that the opponent can’t duck it or jump away from it on wakeup. Unfortunately Hakan’s ddt recovery is way longer than Cammy’s hooligan recovery, so if the opponent has a backdash that can escape it, it can really be punished. And like hooligan, wakeup low normals and invincible reversal specials beat meaty ddt.

That’s really cool, the thing where toward+mp uncombos into ddt. If you hit someone with toward+mp and cancel it to mk ddt, the opponent can’t duck, jump, or low normal themselves out of the way, and some characters can’t backdash either. In my testing, reversal invincible special attacks in between the toward+mp and the ddt interrupted the uncombo and beat the ddt. Great find, though.

Whats the effect that backdash NDC has on anti air normals? Surely after the things it dodges on wakeup it’d have at least some applications as anti air.
