…this is absurd. How the hell can his elbow NOT have a bloody air to air hitbox? Whats the thinking behind that? It boggles the mind.
Its bad enough that Capcom put Guy behind a paywall and demanded that we not only pay extra but also that we wait for months after buying the game to use him; now we find out that he’s broken. This sh*t needs to get patched ASAP.
so i spent some time in training and i think I found an infinite ground loop already…
TC xx hozanto cadc cr.lp,cr.lp,TC xx hozanto cadc cr.lp cr.lp. repeat. i could only get 3 reps but my timing isnt the best.
TC links off just about anything guy has so it can easily be started from lots of things. probably get patched out if its a real infinite.
edit: so after some more testing i cant get it to work again 
maybe i had counter hit on or something… would kill for some frame data to see if it possible or if im just tripping… i know i did 7 hits starting with TC cadc to cr.lp cr.lp…
if any one else gets it post it up so i know im not crazy.
No air to air hitbox eh… I’ll probably never jump with Guy anyhow, his walk speed gives me hope that I can play a ground game much better than AE if I even decide to play SFxT (the scene here for it may not spark up again) but we’ll see.
I really wish Guy had been in since day 1, after playing around with him today I am now 10 times more interested in this game then when it came out first.

Any usage for his Bushin Chain Throw?
I can’t believe I am actually taking interest in this game after this dude was put in.
It has its uses in the corner for resets, I usually do s.mp after it and then cancel that into his run. It can be really tricky but you shouldn’t become too predictable with it, if you do the slide from the run you will land on the other side and if you stop you should land in front of them, haven’t tried with the overhead yet so not to sure about that. Overall it has its uses I just wouldn’t use it much since your likely to get DP’d out of it and his normal Bushin chain/TC is much better.
Cant even land super? Figured a 3 frame super off Bushin Chain Throw would be a lovely addition if the damage is worth it or even Cross Art or cross assault.
You probably can but I don’t see why you would choose to do it when you can just do Bushin chain>TC>super or a more damaging combo than that, you can attack out of the Bushin chain throw but IMO it is best used for resets rather than doing combos since TC and the Bushin chain are much better options.
EDIT: Just tested and you can’t link super from it surprisingly, by the time super is done they have landed, that’s a shame but not a big loss really
Also a nice little thing in this game is that Guy can combo into his Ninja Sickle (his DF.HK) from a jump in, the most I have been able to get from it so far is TC>Hurricane kick which does 351 damage, there are better easier combos to do but this just looks cool :3

Is Bushin Flip faster or same speed, what about his Jump and walkspeed compared to AE
