Fine, I have nothing to back it up.

Let all the rumors be true, and let everyone get there hopes up on info that proply won’t matter once the game hits console only for the player to re-discover the true info themselves. I’m sorry I don’t live in Japan, maybe next time I will. I’m sorry for watching slash vids and getting info from jap sites on Ky from message boards and random tournament messages, I guess those japs are wrong. Silly me for ever thinking about believing them.

I don’t mind anyone giving out info, but implying how a character plays by there standers is really overall just giving false info if there not used to the character they play as or knew how they truly played in #R (didn’t I just say that).

Sorry AKA, but you kind of miss the point. You just attacked me for certain comments I didn’t even make or even mean (yes some of the things you did point you were right… which was only like 1 thing). Please read my post more carefully next time (if thats possible, I suck at english and everything else).

The slow ones can be easily dodge in #R, but it did get some sort of pressure combos against characters like Dizzy, Venom, and other chars without any upper invisability moves.

Hell, Id default to Fubarduck, too, but only when it comes to Zappa. Hes an asshole with Zappa.

I hate drama, but I love train wrecks so let me chime in really quick. I didnt really state any facts, and by no means am I the most fantastic player best suited to relay all new information about slash. As someone else pointed out, Im just here to let you know what the game seems like to me.

When I talk about the way a character is, Im talking about the way people are playing the characters in the arcade. All the guys that play Axl play Axl the same way they do in #reload. All the Zappas I played play Zappa like they would in #reload. I haven`t watched too many videos since…well, since I can walk across the street and watch a bunch of Japanese players go at it.

So many tears, so few tissues. Where do I start? Here, we go.

Angry Mexican guy: Is your name Ivan? Anyways, Im a Pot player and I think Ky and Chipp players are fucking scrubby pussies. I can only offer information about Potemkin. Also, I am a Slayer and Dizzy player who thinks Ky and Chipp players are fucking scrubby pussies. With that being said, I guess I could also talk about Slayer and Dizzy. Unfortunately, I havent played Dizzy at all yet and Ive only tooled around with Slayer a bit so I didnt feel like saying too much.

Lord knows Ive played against more than my fair-share of Ky and Chipp players back in the states (havent we all?) I hate those annoying characters and I love to smash them, but when I suddenly get my ass beat down by Ky player after Ky player, I start to think something might be different here.

Shankar: I played against two Eddies, but they both sucked so I cant really say much. Pot vs Eddie is obviously not one of my favorite match ups, but these guys got clowned; Nevada Eddies are where its at anyways. Ill let you know if I see any good Eddies, and Im going to try and play Dizzy if I can today.

Agmaster: No, but you must have flicked away my entire paragraph about FDB being completely different. What`s the secret, anyways? Timing? Range? Make sure to let me know; I could really use some help here.

To the people that give a shit, I`ll post more “observations” tomorrow. Until then, feel free to squabble amongst yourselves.

To a degree, you’re right. I did lay it on a little thick. The comments you claimed to have never made…well, whatever. You’re still grabbing info (from Japanese sites?) and then keeping it to yourself when you disagree with someone. The point is, you basically told this guy to fuck off without real merit, without supporting your argument. You think people take it well when you say “fuck off I’m rite lolol”, then give no proof? Nyacono - I’ll stop acting like Robin Hood now. The comment about Fubar was NOT meant to discredit him, as I tried to imply. He is a great Zappa player; my point was that opinions should be made of one’s own experiences instead of deferring to someone else or repeating something you heard “somewhere”. Have fun in Japan.

As far as I have read on Japanese sites it says that S Stun Edge gives you +3 or +4 frame advantadge lol. There’s also a rumor about the fireball loop on those sites, no vids to confirm yet though =(

I am offended…you haven’t played ALL of the fucking scrubby pussies who play Chipp and Ky(check signature.) I appreciate the input but my friend, don’t get this shit twisted in anyway. Yeah, this thread is the gayest shit ever. So random people theory fighting and having never played the game vs. someone who is a 5 minute walk from 3 seperate slash machines with over 20 japanese players all day obviously is wrong here. You guys are fucking morons.

BTW, Yacono is spreading the renocrew jokes on thick. You wouldn’t know who Ivan was unless you lived here. 9TNine, it’s good to know you can back up Yacono as a player. He’s not the best, but he’s no scrub. He makes even my Slayer cry. ;_;

Oh, hey. Whats up, man? Long time, no see. I remember you though. And Stubbles...man Ill never forget Stubbles.

The I-no scene where I am is pretty small. I saw somebody pick I-no the other day but I was playing Tekken at the time. I played one I-no player today, but they werent very solid. They played I-no the same as in #reload, but adapted to use her new vertical chemical love during juggles. I dont think he was a very good representative of Japanese I-no players, though. Oh, let me add to the list of things I could never FDB: musical note.

I played a Zappa player who also sucked. I had seen high bouncy ghost before, but low bouncy ghost was new. He played Zappa like The Kugz plays Zappa: with lots of Potemkin Bustering and dying. Once again, not a good representative.

I was able to FDB another Ky fireball today which made me very excited. The timing and range are both different. Like I said before, FBD range for hitting the opponent seems to have been extended, but with projectiles you now have to wait until the absolute last second. Huge things like I-nos supers and Fausts bomb explosions and metoers are easy since they`re all up in your grill, but smaller, slower things like ghosts, rasengekis and assorted fireballs require a lot more skill and timing to flick back. A shame, really.

Venom seems solid, but Im not qualified to speak on the subject. I was too busy crying to understand what was going on. Im not very good against venom so thats about all I can say on the matter. Looks like there are a few new ball formations and the damage you get off of a normal throw + follow-up is crazy. Once again, small things like pool balls are a lot harder to deflect if youre a Potemkin or Eddie fan.

I went in really early today, so most of the good players werent out. Ill stop back in later and throw all my money away for you guys.

Kugz, I almost exclusively played Slayer with the Seattle guys. I wasnt allowed to play Potemkin and use someone elses Japanese stick at the same time. If you remember those tourny vids that Buk referenced on video opera (as a prime example of why american guilty gear videos are a waste of time) that was the I-no player. And I know you remember Scrubbles, too.
