I feel like I read it without even reading it. And I definitely haven’t checked out the majority of these new posts that sprouted, nor will I. The game will be fun, and more balanced, just give me some more INFO on it, and all that’s left is getting my hands on it.
I know tons of people who are complaining about the new SSF4.
It boggles my mind because these are the same people who buy Madden every year and buy single player games whose campaigns they finish in 8 - 10 hours for the same price as SF4, which has given me 5+ hours of fun every week since it was released.
Personally I agree that this should have been DLC. Anyone who agrees with that destructoid b.s. is another mindless Capcom zombie. Don’t you know it when companies are ripping you off by selling you $20 worth of DLC content for $40 by putting it in a plastic case?
Same amount as people selling normal games for 60 that you beat in six hours and never touch again? I don’t know. The only games I look at as constant value until I want to stop are MMOs. And those you gotta pay monthly for the majority so eh.
dear capcom,
thank you for making another good ( not great, 3s and ST owns my soul) fighting game addition to the SF series, now if you would kindly give me an address so i can mail you my wallet, along with a piece of my soul for SSF4 i would die happy.
and fuck the broke cheap mother fuckers who don’t want to spend money on the update.
seriously, if your too cheap to buy it now just fucking wait till it becomes a 20 dollar game in the bargain bin. that way we can all enjoy this now while you play the old shit!
and its a fucking while for the release, start saving NOW. go get a job, or do something to make money for it. bitching about it seriously doesn’t help.
oh and LOL @ calling us a capcom zombie when your in a fucking forum named after a move in a FUCKING CAPCOM GAME!
@Topic:
Very cool article. I first thought it was supposed to be a “Shut up about SSFIV, noone cares! >:O”-kind of thing, but luckily, it was quite the contrary, and true, too.
Hell, I even picked up SFIV this very week and yet I can’t wait for SSFIV, haha.
ahhh the consumer: wants to get everything without spending their hard earned money, because the hard work and countless hours put into development programming creation refining marketing etc etc arent worth the 20-60 bucks it costs on the shelves.
Yeah the people who complain about this aren’t competitive FG players is the only way I see it. Like, if you take this game seriously, a balance overhaul with some (potential) new systems means practically a new game already, not to mention more characters.
The only ones whining about this are the casual players who just don’t want to chip in a little more money for something they don’t care that much about anyways.
I was kind of hoping that this would be released as DLC, but Capcom is going the extra mile for it and I would pay the extra cash for it. I actually think its nice that Capcom is releasing SSF4 on an actual disk, I would much rather physically own my purchases.
Though if Capcom charges cash to unlock costumes or some bullshit like that, then I might just reconsider the purchase.
There has never been a thread more worthy of a sticky than this one.
I wish I could press a button that sent an electric shock to certain people over the internet. This would of course cause them to pee and poop themselves violently. I doubt that would get them to STFU, but it would be hilarious.
I am fine with paying as long as its not too much like 60$, though it does put a lil damper to me. Reason is, the PC is my primary playing platform so i bought it around July-ish, then 2 months later theres a new version which makes me go a lil “ehhh…sigh…okaaay…”
Not that i am not excited for the new version or i wont enjoy the game now. I would definitely buy it for sure. But hopefully people understand where it comes from for those that waited for the PC version then see an update to the game already.
For those that bought it February, they got alot of time with the game already so i can understand where the OP comes from.
