I’m saying I didn’t really like the fact I needed to pay to unlock something that’s on the disc.
But rather than bitch about it to other people or on here, I just didn’t buy the costume packs (well, I did buy the Shoto pack :sad: ) and went about my day.
Just like the Collector’s Edition of games… the extra’s are never really worth it for me, so I just don’t buy them, but if people want them by all means, enjoy.

Why are people still complaining about having to pay for alt costumes? They’re already on the disc because you’d need it there to be able to fight someone who has purchased them - you aren’t at any disadvantage by not having purchased it so why continue complaining?

Hey Capcom, give me back all the quarters I dropped into Street Fighter 2 World Warrior, Championship Edition, Turbo, AND Super, since you guys released Super Turbo. Matter of fact, give me back my quarters I dropped in that, since I picked up HD Remix. I don’t like spending money on something for it to be obsolete and I have to buy the “new” version.

Hey, you want the 2010 model car with the newer/better features, you have to pay for it, and suck it up that you paid for the 2009 model. I’m sure you drove the 2009 model a lot, got many miles from it, and it got you what you wanted/needed at the time. No one’s forcing you to drop the '09 model, and it’ll still be around the next day, I promise.
Honestly, I’m DAMN GLAD it’ll be on a new disc. I would actually happily pay another $60 for the new game, so long as it’s as polished and fresh as the current. If there are new cut-scenes and endings? Even better! They’ll more than likely charge $40 for it though. That’s a frickin bargain if you ask me. Just look at Capcom’s history, they’ve sold SF2 iterations on MANY different platforms again and again (SF2X on GBA!!!), and some people DEMAND a “free” upgrade? Get real. If the thought of dropping another $40 on “the same game” bothers you too much, you can spend LESS than that and pick up another fighting game entirely. Enjoy your copy of Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe for $30 and have fun with the Superman infinite.

Video games are a business like any other… ‘trying to milk money’ is what every business does. It’s called making a profit. It’s what a business does instead of going bankrupt.
Someone pointed out, if you take a look back over the last two decades, and especially if you take inflation into account, Street Fighter games have gotten CHEAPER over the years.

100% disagree. You got plenty of bang for your buck when you bought sf4. Costumes are just an extra feature. If they weren’t on the disc then other people who didn’t buy them wouldn’t be able to see you wearing them. just saying, I thought it was 100% reasonable.
