My feelings have pretty much already been spread by most of you. I mean when Peter gets back on the ship and the girl is there…I got flash backs of Captain Kirk and was it the blue chick or green chick? I felt it was part of them showing the obvious meshing of Star Trek in with Star Wars.
If Marvel was trying to play him up in the light the author of the article is refering to, he would of had a couple women, he wouldn’t have acted shocked, etc. It would be ‘Tuesday’ so to speak. Instead he was “Oh shit, I forgot”, because he’s immature.
Even looking at the comment by RR - as mentioned HE DIDN’T LIKE HER, she was just a tool for him, a step above the guys legs. And I love when the ‘scantly clad’ concept comes up, as though she was wearing something less than Drax and as if they were trying to show her off (they weren’t actually). They didn’t tyr to sexify Nebula either…doing a google search of her yields a voluptuous body and way more skin than ‘her upper arms’. The collector’s girls? They were covered head to toe.
People read into things what they want. The movie could of had an all female cast and it STILL would have issues
