I’m bitter that Immonen was moved over to All-New Cap and Avengers Undercover being cancelled.
As for the X-Men team books, I like UXM but I have to admit it’s ridiculously slow. ANXM has picked it up a bit as of the Trial of Jean Grey. All the JGS books are average at best. I had big expectations for the second volume of WatXM - what a waste. X-Force has been amazing though (no pun intended). I didn’t think I was going to keep it after the first couple issues, but Spurrier is excellent at leaving bits here and there and magnifying their importance way later on when it’s not expected. It was a bit harder to follow during his run on XML due to all the accents and weird speech patterns of the characters.
One running gag I have in my head is who hates Cyclops the most - Logan or Beast? Beast is running away with the title.
For solos, I read everything you listed w/ the exception of Cap - dropped that b/c I didn’t like the Dimension Z arc dragging on. The Cyclops solo has been pretty dope so far. Jury still out on Ghost Rider, second arc will determine whether I keep reading.
If the Netflix series do well, I could see a DotD movie materializes since they won’t be main characters in any of the series. Though in all honesty I’d prefer Iron Fist.

But yeah, none of the female books are selling top 10 numbers but the important things are they are selling through their original runs and most critical darlings. Ms. Marvel gets ridiculous love (deserves it too), Black Widow is one of the best spy comic books Marvel has put out in years and Captain Marvel is a pretty fun already super hero book and has improved since last year.
Although, the real push behind why the current Captain Marvel is ideal comes from the fact that of all the female solo heroes, she is easy enough to translate and works in Marvel’s favor due to the name.
I’m not arguing that sales immediately translate to quality, only that sales reflect consumer interest to some degree. The bottom line is that for all the buzz surrounding captain marvel she can’t hold her own series, and while that link is a year old it isn’t like the series has sold much better recently.
After I came outta the movie, I immediately had very high hopes for a movie (or tie-in, or whatever) about the
InHumans. It’s probably not something a lot of you have high on your favs lists, but it’s been one of my favorite
group of characters for a long time.
