I still don’t get why RR was changed…the old voice was awesome and comedic the new one is generic and…well generic lol.
I believe they wanted a name to attach to the voice and while most liked the idea of Rocket with a accent, given how few really big named actors would do it for the amount of money Disney wanted they went with a rising commodity like Cooper. I can only hope they didn’t focus solely on Rocket’s more jerk like tendencies because it can turn bad and I know everyone seems to expect Rocket to be the breakout star of the cast.
Michael Rooker is in it, so I’m definitely seeing it.
I got to attend an advanced screening of this movie last night. I liked it and will watch it again.
Groot and Rocket Raccoon stole the show. I also liked Drax’s character.

THANOS also makes a brief appearance!

Here’s my question, is it worth seeing in IMAX 3D? I figure it wasn’t shot in 3D and those movies are usually ‘meh’, but there is ALOT of CG in this one, so I’m a little hopeful.

I will of course go watch this movie. I just wish they woulda picked someone else to be Drax. Drax
is suppose to be the size of Thanos (who’s suppose to be HUGE, like Hulk).
I will assume: save the $$$s from what would’ve ultimately been another CG character all movie long.

All the reviews so far have been in favor of this. Rave reviews all around. Perhaps it wasn’t BS when some early screeners said it may be the best Marvel movie to date.
