Meh, I’m against putting Dante on my team simply because my execution sucks. I’d feel bad trying to play a low-execution Dante knowing that there is so much stuff I could be doing with him.
Plus, he isn’t my type of char.
wright/frank or tasky/frank workable? hmmm… trying to figure out a combination to get to level 5 w/ tasky that hopefully doesn’t involve drinking
Don’t know about Wright and Frank. Seems like a lot of hard work trying to power up two characters. That being said, Frank supposedly has a really good assist, so maybe you’ll find some synergy with Wright.
Okay, so I think I know what characters to use.
Frank, Shuma, and Dormammu. I’m just not sure what order to use.
Frank will go either first or second. Probably shopping cart as an assist.
Shuma will go either first or last. I probably will put him last, because that’s his best place. That may change in ultimate, though.
Dormammu will either go second or last. Dark Hole assist.
So it’s either Frank/Dorm/Shuma or Shuma/Frank/Dorm. Any thoughts?
How will Shuma bring Frank in for lvl 4? BEc the Second one looks better…
And i made up my mind with this team as well,
Chun/Frank/Task - Chun li will crumple on :l:
:h: magic raw tag Frank in, he will do his BnB camera call Chun li assist :s: air :h::s: camera the THC…
If Chun dies which (meaning when ur point dies) i will still have a Task to get Frank in and lvl him to lvl 4, if i see the team have keep away potential i put Task point.
Task should deal with zoning and DHC into Chun li when he gets any hit in after his bnb, now all Chun needs to do is get one hit then i crumple magic and call Frank in to lvl up.
Frank point will be helped by Task arrows assist and Chun li assist to lvl up, plus Chun li has and invincible hyper plus Frank as well…
I think Shuma can do it if you use the mystic stare assist.
I’ve come to the conclusion that all of the assists that can be used to make Zero or Viper stupid apply to Frank as well, he has the same weak point as they do and can capitalize off things in similar ways.
So Dante is even more his best friend?
It covers the area that he can’t reach safely on his own, what will he do against Trish/Zero who just sits in the air shooting until he has paddle saw? To make those match ups better he needs the same support Viper needs.
I feel Frank is gonna have a Phoenix effect to him. Once he Lv.4-5 he’s a beast but sooner people realize this they gonna snap Frank in when he Lv.1
The positive is if Frank do land a hit (slide ftw?) pretty much confirm a level-up, unless they die before his camera shot.
Edit:I believe Frank need to be point or second since Frank Lv.1 seem like a losing battle even with X-factor.
I don’t see any reason to put him as anchor. He looks to really need assists.
frank is great on point. a simple combo should take you to at least level 4, and then he’s a monster from there on out with his paddle saw. him + dante are indeed BFF’s as of right now
can’t find a way to make him work w/ tasks…
Has it been confirmed/deconfirmed that you can tag him out to stop vomiting? If so then it opens up far more options for getting him to level 5 safely. I’m really geninely interested in experimenting with who would be a good team for Frank now. I wanted to use Ghost Rider as well, so I wonder if his Hellstorm Maelstrom super is THC viable for example.
Moving away from high hit-count supers, what about the idea of using someone like Nemesis that ironboy mentioned earlier? If you have a super that doesn’t do many hits, but just holds them in place for yonks I wonder if you could snap off two photos? That’s essentially doubling the XP count since they stack right?

My personal problem with Dante is that I am fucking terrible at playing him.
I mean, I can do some simple combos, but it feels wrong using Dante doing a few simple BnB relaunch combos when the guy can make the game look like Dragonball Z…
Anyway, Frank/Dante/Nova looks like team I could use.
Or Frank/Dante/Ghost Rider/

Those are characters that I have interests in maining (Spidey/Ryu being my best in vanilla), but I want to main Frank the most so I’ll build a team around him.

Dante+Frank are definitely scary so far, so I’ll put Dante back for one of my main teams.
My other team (which should be my official main) is gonna be Felicia/Frank/Hawkeye. Considering all the THC possibilities and easy Level Up combos for Frank, all I need is that dodge roll move and the rest should be smooth sailing lol.
After seeing what Ryu is capable off now I will definatley be rocking Ryu/Frank/Nova.
Atleast…that’s the team i am going to work on when I get the game on day1
