Gremlinsolutions.co.uk

Yep, that does seem to be the case. They’ve got a far better selection of parts on the website though. But you can bet I’ll be checking Ebay first in the future

I’ve just completed an order with gremlinsolutions and they’ve been awesome with any questions and issues I’ve had. I highly recommend them and they’re very friendly to talk to over the phone too

i ordered all sanwa parts on the 27th and received my package on the 1st… so yeah, if your in the uk shop at Gremlinsolutions… (on a side note a friend of mine is waiting on his order and he ordered before me however he ordered semitsu buttons that they dont have in stock so he has to wait) honestly cant fault them.

They seem very hit and miss. I emailed them over a week ago making an inquiry about prices and that I am basically ready to make another decent sized order and I’ve heard nothing. I don’t really care if you are a small business or a multinational, but you should conduct yourself professionally. Delays of over a week to reply to emails are unacceptable.

The disparity between their online store and their ebay store should be addressed too. It is affecting their reputation. Frankly, if there were any other UK based suppliers I would use them, provided of course that they weren’t as slapdash.

Ordered alot of Sanwa parts from Gremlin on Mar 25th, shipped Apr. 3rd - I am in the US, lets see how fast it gets to me

My order turned up within 4 days (UK) and they even threw a free bat top in, well pleased with their service and will certainly use them again.

I ordered and waited a few weeks for my parts. I think like a lot of suppliers, they have been suddenly swamped with a load of orders due to the release of SF IV (and the lack of availability of the TE at non e-bay prices!) and everybody has been struggling to get hold of Sanwa parts.

I knew that there was a wait (they even said so on their site) and they have been pretty good at posting on their site which orders have been processed and when the next batch would be going out. My order arrived just as they said it would on their site so personally, I have no complaints at all about their service.

After my order arrived, I phoned them as I wanted to know when new stock was arriving so that I can mod my other SE - they were very friendly and it seems that some stuff is arriving this week - but much of this will fulfill existing orders - and a lot more stock is expected in the next couple of weeks after Easter. Did say that they had plenty of buttons in at the moment!

My first order from Gremlin was about a month or two ago. Spoke to a nice chap on the phone who was quite patient with all my questions and when I decided on a LS-32-01 and a bunch of sanwa OBSN30 buttons he volunteered to put the order in there and then over the phone and I recieved my order the next day!!

I’ve just ordered with them again yesterday for another LS-32-01 and more sanwa buttons for my 2nd project so I’ll let you guys know how quick they are this time…

Anyways, I think the majority of these arcade parts shops are small businesses which are run by a few people that are not all dedicated to customer services and packing…

so I don’t believe they could’ve ever believed, or was ready for, the overwhelming amount of people who would’ve wanted sanwa/seimitsu parts tbh! e.g. I think it’s like being the only barman/waiter serving drinks to an unexpectedly crowded bar on the quietest night of the week…

Ordered on the 28th (which was a weekend) dispatched yesterday and received today! (Sanwa JLF + OBSF’s)

I ordered my parts on their website, I was thinking of ordering from their ebay site but didn’t think certain parts (the happ Joystick) was the actual one I was after (I am new to joystick modification, and yes like the rest street fighter 4 has made me want to modify a joystick). So hopefully parts will be here within another week, as I ordered last Tuesday.

If you’re modding the SE sticks you don’t need the hard to get 8YT, and can use the 8Y which is readily available on gremlinsolutions and cheaper than the 8YT.

You can follow my guide here for getting the plate off the SE and dealing with stripped screws:

I had nothing but great service from them - sent them an email Friday morning, had a reply within 20 mins.

The guy then rang me later that day, was extremely helpful in answering my noobish questions, paid for it, then it was boxed over the weekend, sent on Monday, and received on Weds!

No free ball top though! :frowning:

My ball top was missing from my order too. A quick phone call and I had it the next day

Ah, so the free ball top was intentional. I felt a bit sly just receiving it and not saying anything, but I did guess it was probably compensation for the delay. Like I’ve said a few times on these boards my service was superb. Rang to change order from snap ins to screw ins when they first restocked back in March, then e-mailed me back stating that there wasnt any white 24mm screw ins so would i like to pick a different colour. Boxed that day, posted, received the following day. What else can you want. 10/10 for me.

Says in the description that the stick comes with a ball top.

What’s the Ls-32 like? I’m getting used to the Sanwa but I wonder whether I should have opted for an octagonal gate. Was thinking of trying the LS-32 on my second SE stick which I have yet to mod (or even open!!)

No I realise I was actually meant to receive that, but on top of that I received a free bubble top.

Aww, I didn’t :frowning:

YES! got my jlf and buttons, posted friday and on my doorstep this morning:wow: Big thanks to GS, they even posted it when i didnt give them enough for shipping…guys are class!

For those of you that have ordered and received your parts from gremlins (in the US), how long of a wait was it between shipping confirmation and arrival? It’s been a week since my shipping confirmation, so just curious.
