Stabby is right regarding Yuujirou, this point was recently brought up during Baki vs. Pickle. To Itagaki, martial arts were derived as a way for the weak to overcome the strong. Which is why Pickle is said to have “lost” despite ko-ing Baki, due to being forced to use a martial art technique to overcome him.
@Jimmy: Yuuji has pretty much mastered and fought against every extant style in the world, and he knows a very sizable amount of languages(Itagaki stated such in an interview), so if you wanted to be technical yes he would be a martial artist, but he has no use for martial art techniques as he is the strongest creature on earth.

Because they’re nearly entirely different languages. That’s like asking how you can speak esperanto, but not italian. It’s not as if they’re as similar as spanish and portugese.
Bullshit they are. The difficult part of japanese IS the chinese. It doesn’t have tonal shit, all he really has to learn is the grammar and that stuff is easy since hiragana/katakana is like learning the alphabet.
