Is Yujiro really a martial artists? If you ever noticed hes beaten every frickin style there is. Like even for a fiction seriesā¦thats kinda crazy to hear. It takes many years just to learn one style let alone a lifetime to master. To beat them all he is an absolute not of this world motherfucker. Just to see him mash on every master thats still alive is just absurd, and give a frickin caveman something to shit his pants about. Killing polar bears, apes, and random other miracles.
I just think he is an extremely intelligent, gifted, and talented survivalist if you ask my opinion. But it makes me question his knowledge of martial arts in general. I know he has vast knowledge of techniques. However, the shit he does make him look like a complete brute with built in computer precision from what it seems. Until the guy who writes Baki gives some serious light on Yujiroās past. I will never ever get this character.
Dont mind the rant because Im just speculating the mystery around him. He seems to have great respect for martial arts and the masters but at the same time he feels its a waste of time. Kind of reminds me when Baki began to take his training into his own hands without coaches or a master at such a young age of 13. And Baki seems to get heavily offended when being called a fighter or something related. One last thing. Hanayama mentioned the difference between martial arts, and strength after the Pickle/Baki fight. Martial Arts was invented to fight bigger, and stronger opponents such as himself. So Im sure Yujiro is the Strength side of the equation.
So to end this. Is Yujiro really a martial artist, in your opinion? Or just a god gifted brute with super knowledge and technique?

eh, i think yujiro is a martial artist, but when hes a strong as he is, martial arts is not important for him to use really unless he wants to troll. hes what 7 feet and 300 pounds of pure super human muscle. hes immune to the strongest poison in the world from a frog, and even baki was like, hiv, cancer, that cant kill him. i remember how baki learned karate from a book in no time. i would imagine yujiro has the same skill, which is produced through hard work, and dedication. if the writer were to flesh out yujiro more, you would probably see him as a kid who never stopped reading and educating himself on ALL topics when hes not physically training. doesnt he speak like 8 languages or something crazy.my point is that, im sure yujiro has the same ability to learn shit quickly, like his son. he might have some natural talent at this, but i would imagine this is also the reward of hard work. like how bakiās brain actually physically changed as a result of his training. i mean its fictional in this instance, but in reality, brain plasticity is a very real topic with some very amazing stories that im sure the average person didnt know was happening every day. anyways
yujiro is what 50 now i believe. if he was teaching baki advanced techniques like the whip, when baki was a kid. i imagine short of doing a kamehameha, he knows everything thats already out there. plus yujiro seems to like to prove the point that i like, which is you can do all the fancy shit you want, but when i know it too, then what the fuck are you going to do to stop me, a 7 foot, 300 pound man, when your maybe half the man i am. lol
baki is also a martial artist, and i guess in the eyes of the viewers, more so then yujiro. i mean, baki is only like 5ā10, and i would say 200 pounds max. not that baki doesnt have brute force options, but he just doesnt really use them, as i think hes still well aware that when fighting people taller and heavier then him, technique can prove to be better, especially if theyre ignorant to the technique. like even though jack doesnt have the same technique knowledge of baki, his arm and leg reach still trump baki heavy, and realistically with jacks speed and strength, baki cant risk to just go blow to blow with a guy like that.
Did they ever show this? I remember Baki saying to reporters that he started learning karate the day he applied for the tournament against the Shinshinkai federationā¦but as far as I can tell from scans and scanlations, the manga starts with that tournament. Was it in the anime? I have the entire seriesā¦but I only watch the Maximum Tourney.
