I’m so glad to see Retsu finally getting his ass kicked, though Itagaki really needs to study up on Boxing more if he seriously thinks that it started with the bareknuckle prize ring. >_>
But I’m thinking Retsu will eventually defeat Smoking, in which case he’ll fight the actual strongest fighter in boxing(at this point I"m thinking it’s an improved Ali Jr.), and that’ll wrap this little subplot up and we can finally get to the real fight of the series.

I’m leaning towards no… which is strange because I think Satsu no Hadou Ryu would be able to beat Yujiro, and canon-wise 3S Ryu is stronger than SNH Ryu

For those that read Tough: I was wondering why some flashbacks to the fight between Kiryu and Seiko shows Kiryu with a bald head and sometimes with a full head of hair. Anyone knows why that happens?
what the fuck. i was just letting it slide, but seriously its hard for me to believe retsu getting owned by a boxer because of some, the gloves bullshit. hes fought some seriously tough opponents, with the latest being pickle. i dont remember if pickle got any clean hits on him, but its just dumb to me, but its all good. i dont wanna take things to serious in a fictional manga. plus its nice to see more regular powered fighting and technique talk.
Naw…Akuma may have superb technique and slightly above-average strength (apparently only in his techniques), but he can be hurt. Yuujiro has ridiculous strength (to the point where he could probably create a sinkhole in a restroom just by pissing in a toilet), and is now at a level where he can no-sell ANYTHING. He’d just walk right through Gouki’s hado kens like water balloons, take a gou sho-ryu on the chin (with no effect), and allow himself to eat a SGS…then do his own version of the SNS, beating Akuma to death so fast that it looks like he just reached for him, then changed his mind, where in reality, he punched and kicked him repeatedly so fast that neither fighters’ body seemed to have moved from their original positions, and the impacts are only heard as Akuma slumps to the ground. Akuma’s moves are strong. Yuujirou, overall, is absolutely ridiculously overpowered. He doesn’t even need technique anymore. He is a non-flying, non heat-vision, non arctic breath version of Superman. And even magic may not work on him.
Funny, to me Ryu and Gouki are sort of like Baki and Yujiro. Heck Yujiro has a demon’s face on his back; Gouki has the character for Heaven on his back. Their hair is also red as well.
Well you have to factor in that Akuma (which I heard from several people a long time ago) is only using half of his strength. Who know just how powerful he really is. Who knows if this bamma “taps” into Satan for his powers. :looney: I still say Yujiro sold his soul to become that damn powerful.
akuma could drop yujiro. Yujiro can still be incapacitated by tranquilzing darts. He still get knocked the fuck out. Akuma killed Gouken who wasn’t a push over.he dropped ships and submarines. It would be a tied fight more than likely.
I know I’m the new guy here so I’m probably not even talking about anything related to what’s already been said or maybe I am but I’m just a little late. First off I’d just like to say that I’m not a big fan of mangas at all. I definitely enjoy reading the Udon Street Fighter series and all and then there’s the Baki series that literally has me at my computer for hours rather than on my PS3. I have to say that from what I’ve looked for in a story, the Baki Hanma story has me on edge constantly. The artwork is amazing, the plot is amazing, everything about it is awsome except for one little thing. You love 'em and you hate 'em. The wild fang project. Now I own the seasons 1 and 2 of baki the grappler and it’s my favorite anime. However you don’t see that anymore do you? I picked up on the story a while later when I discovered new grappler baki. EXCELLENT!!! I loved it and how there was even more story on baki and kozue. However after discovering that she’s just a little @%$& who’s last seen hugging Ali Jr. and isn’t seen any more kinda pisses me off. I kind of hate her right now. However I just finished that series and I already read baki son of ogre up to the last english volume number 18. I just wish this WFP would stop being stingy and get there asses to translating so English people like me can understand what’s going on with the best story ever written. Sorry if it’s such a long post but I’m actually feeling a little emotoional with this BS right now. I’m way too caught up in the story to be left out in the dark now.:arazz:
