If you can get me the names of other series that run in that magazine, I can tell you about how well it is doing. Garouden looks like it sells between 40 and 50k per tank. Only other series I could find the name of that runs in that magazine is piano no mori which looks like it sells in the range of 60-70k.
Or ronin can find it himself if he likes, since he can actually read the shit on oricon. I have to go through ann and use their weekly rankings.

Mangahelpers is currently on Chapter 68. I’m not sure who would have a farther coverage, since most of these sites seem to all have the same stuff within hours of each other. Haguro’s confrontation with Jin starts in Chapter 60, if you are looking for it.

My theory is because he’s a pseudo werewolf(he wasn’t a full fledged one like akira’s mom, nor was he a hybrid like Akira himself), his face was hideously grotesque, but vagule human, much more so than Akira(who had a complete wolfhead). Also notice that Chiba’s hairgrowth wasn’t prominent, even though it was the new moon and Akira stated that werewolves features become extremely prominent as the new moon grows closer.
Even before the new moon became apparent, Chiba’s invincibility wasn’t nearly as impressive as Akira’s, sure he healed at a fast rate, but Akira displayed Colossus type invulnerability. So while technically a were, he wasn’t a real one, due to him only being able to transform thanks to the blood transfusion.
must say with the knowledge that you were mistaken, back in the mindset to drop the manga, as Haguro’s just stupid at this point, and a complete eyesore, as well as Ryuuko and Inugami’s continued “I don’t want to be involved with humans!” whining, when if he had killed Haguro from jump this shit wouldn’t be happening.
Argh looks like I might pause Meguru til the end of the year/catch up in Jan 2011, Vol. 4 comes out in a few months and I prefer to read my mangas in volumes/batches ;.;
