Ok, so i just started getting into Baki and i’m loving. I just had a question of whether i was reading it in the right order.

I’m satisfied with JLPT. It’s really considered the highest. But maybe I’ll take the Biz one too, just for kicks. Tho, just because you’ve passed those tests by no means you’re really fluent in the language or can speak it well, just means you rather good at reading, I think.

TBH, I’m lost with this manga. Did Yujirou accept that Baki is worth fighting? It can’t be winding down already, but the translations at 190 and the manga at 220, and nothing seems to be going on since Pickle left town.
The fight is set. The question is when. But come on the whole comic is hype for that one fight, so I wouldn’t expect it anytime soon, after all Itagaki has to eat!
^The fight is set, and iirc, the baki chapters from the week before last(since there was none last week), was just a timeline chronicling Yuujirou/Baki’s encounters leading up to this fight. Yuujirou acknowledged Baki as an equal back in NGB, he was just waiting for the results of Baki vs Pickle.

rawparadise called it quits in the wake of Shueisha’s announcement regarding that they’d start taking action against online manga scans, most of 90% of rawparadise’s traffic was from Japanese users, so they didn’t want to risk further action and just shut down.
still trying to find an alternative for baki raws now, but I’m sure the rsf message boards will still have them posted somewhere
also don’t think Itagaki’s in danger of losing money once Baki vs Yuujirou happens, He still has the Scarface manga(which he had put on hold since it takes place after SoO’s conclusion), also he could easily keep up the Baki Legends shorts that focus on single characters, there’s also his partnership with Yumemakura on illustrating Garouden, so I wouldn’t say it’s all quits after the final clash so to speak.
And he has NGB and SoO to turn into anime.
Sucks about raw paradise. Jump has a lot of people scanning, as well as some groups having private scans, but Baki is probably not going to get anymore. Mangahelpers figures that the note was mostly for the japanese audience so they’ll continue with business as usual until something comes up.
What I hate about anti-piracy things is that they put stress on the consumer instead of figuring out a way to do things properly. Movies, music, books-- none of them can come up with a solution so they throw these silly tantrums and demand that we stick with outdated formats. The only thing that makes me angrier is when they try to provide a service but come up with pricing based on their old model. Nuh-uh, that shit doesn’t fly with Stabby. I’m not biting until you come up with a better value than “free”
The scarface manga is written by some other guy, and I wonder if garouden might get canceled because it appears very rarely and is now in the back of the Evening comic magazine.
