Akuma vs. Yuujiro?
Baki vs Yuujiro, when we gonna see it? Betting Pool anyone?
At this point I think itās like Ippo vs Miyata syndrome, never gonna happen.
Baki vs Yuujiro is gonna happen. Unlike Ippo, Baki has no one left to fight except Yuujiro, even Yuujiro said he would take on the winner of Pickle vs Baki.
Yuujirou already stated heās getting the winner of baki/pickle.
Also, this canāt be compared to Ippo/Miyata, whereas in HnI, Ippo/Miyata were constantly pursuing one another, their conflict was not central to the story, but was more along a running theme thorought, along with numerous other events going on. Baki vs Yuujirou is THE main focus of the entire series, so it pretty much has to happen to make any of the events up to that point mean anything.

i just saw the old grappler baki ova again on youtube. its awesome.
as a person who wants to cosplay in the future, im surprised there is no baki cosplay out there at all. it seems like the easiest to do: kickboxing shorts, leg and hand wraps. and scar make up.
if i lose more body fat from my bulk, i definitely wouldnt mind cosplaying as baki
^Itās not the character designs that are the problems with Baki cosplays, itās the fact that a lot of cosplayers are nowhere near in shape to even resemble the characters. 
that hasnt stop them in the past though. haha. ive seen so many damn skinny zangiefs, a skinny baki wouldnt be too out there. maybe in japan, their pride fighters are their bakis.
idk, if i dont get big enough by the fall to do ryu, ill do baki for you guys. no homo 
Lololā¦I think bakiās more muscled than Ryu, though Ryu might weigh more, Iām sure Ryuās taller though.
Baki would beat Ryu in an arm wrestling contest.
But I would give anyone insane props if they were to cosplay Yuujiro.
I remember in like '96 some friends and I saw this in the misc corner of blockbuster with the random anime and thought it was the coolest shit ever.
It was an episode where his opponent plucked out peoples nerve endings and tendons, and Baki had to beat him with one arm. The guy looked like that samurai showdown kabuki character with red hair.

i think baki is more ripped though. they make him look like a more agile speedier character.

Just finished reading Baki SoO 16. Holy shit at Katsumiās arm!!! :wow:
The Great Tatsumi is another reference to Antonio Inoki.
When thinking about the hell he grew up in, the manga talks about how his mentor, Rikio san, discovered him in Brazil. This is a play on the famous wrestler Rikidozan who found Antonio after his family had moved to Brazil. Rikidozan was the most famous Japanese wrestler of his time and later died from a knifing incident in the bathroom of a club over disputes with the Yakuza. In the manga, Tatsumi crushes his balls and he kills himself.
Two of the funnier parts of the manga if you understand this history is how Kurama is treated. Kurama being noticed by Tatsumi for his track skills is a reference on how Inoki was discovered. Tatsumi repeatedly slapping Kurama in the face is something common people ask Inoki to do to them.
The wrestler that attacks Jyohei outside of the ring is Don Frye.
Havenāt figured out if Nagata is supposed to be a play on Genichiro Tenryu or Mitsuharu Misawa.
I watched the whole entire anime series yesterday. Shit is too good. i like when Yujiro went all berserk during the underground tournament arc when the fighters were altogether in front of him talking about they were gonna take him down. LOL. āHow dare you talk to me like that! ILL KILL YOU ALL!!ā Dudes looked mad scared lolol. Baki had suggested he be tranquilized, and shit lolol. Yujiro looked just like a wild animal too just roaring and everything trying to get to everyone while he was wrapped in a net. Crazy, fucking crazy ass Yujiro.
lol, yeah Yuujiro is the shit. My favorite character in the series followed closely by Doppo.

baki varies a bit in size specifically from new grappler baki up until now. now he is mostly in his slim muscular fit since getting poisoned and losing weight in the chinese tournament arc. just some pics from son of ogre below, that might be a better reference to bakiās body. like there are a couple moments in new grappler baki where he was like he was in the pics below, and a couple times he looked huge. lol. overall the general theme is that most characters have muscles, but also have long limbs.
