OmNiExiZt is correct. I find i have the same sort of gripes with Elderscrolls games.
They try to make these games that emulate real life, but they aren’t at a stage where the hardware can create living breathing fully interactive cities.
Demon Dash, man i’ve never seen someone whine so hard lol, take it easy man, car handling in the game is okay, and i wish the cops did give you a star for running a red, wheel spinning, dangerous overtaking etc.
The most fun i had was last night, 1 hour trying to steal a bloody swat truck that was part of the road block on the bridge at 4 stars. Running from the cops is what this game is all about!
Can you hide from the cops within their search radius and have them eventually give up?
the driving is ok but i have gotten pissed off at some points like when you chase someone and then BOOM you run into a wall and then the enemy gets away.
the cover system is not a bad first effort, but i can see it improving in the future of the series.
the music, which i discussed earlier isnt as good as vice city or SA. some stuff in the radio is good, but they should’ve allowed custom soundtracks
the one thing i can say i liked about SA more than GTA4 is that cj character met a more diverse group of ppl like woozie, the truth, and the two dudes from love fist.
however, i never was a fan of the body changing element but i did like the rpg style character progression. my guess is that maybe rockstar wanted to start “fresh” with a brand new gta, so that meaning starting from scratch and adding more new features in future titles. maybe they wanted to hold some stuff back for future titles. iono maybe just a guess.
i mean overall i dont find the game bad, but its not perfect.
I am currently at 96% in single player and i can see that there isnt much to do after i get 100% besides multiplayer… However i think GTA iv is a step in the right direction. Rockstar created an amazing template for future GTA games. I wonder what they can do next… GTA Japan haha
until i started working for gov’t i always thought the “heliport” icon said, “hellpark” and was just a place you could take your dates…i guess that’s reason #4530568 i need an HD TV.
also i think i might be the only one that has never enjoyed any of the flying missions or even the fact that you could fly in any of the GTA games, i’m all about putting that work in on the ground fuck that airborne nonsense.
i did the mission where they teach you how to fight except on the internet says you learn how to disarm there, but i killed him too fast for that (i punched him and he fell out of the window into the lake) and didn’t get the knife
and it says there should be an icon i go to at gamefaqs, but nothing after 2 hours
i just keep calling up that broad and fucking her and getting drunk with ramon

Every song that was selected has a connection… from James Brown to Joe Crocker to Above the Law. You had a chance to hear not only where they (rap songs) were sampled but what songs they were sampled from. What the fucc made dr. dre sample woman to woman!!! thats skills… an during certain mission… the right song was playin for the mood… “murder rap” blastin when you had to go take back ya territory…lawd:rofl:
Every station you were able to listen to… yes even the ol school country station to the dust… baracuda blastin while speedin to san fierro was too good.
The host… if you listened they mentioned situation from GTA 3 and Vice City… in a sense they were connected to the past.

THE ABILITY TO SKIP… the simple back an forth roll cancel tap allowed you to skip to the next cut once you understood the order of the songs… if you new ultramagnetic mc’s were up next… just jump straight to the cut an get to blastin…
overally SA was given such a delicate treatment from DJ Pooh an crew that its memorable… I have the whole soundtrack thats how good that shyt was to me. I could pause my game an put it on a station an jam like shyt. I can understand people enjoyed Vice City… so did i… but SA took the cake with everything (um… swimming) it included in the game an when it came to the soundtrack… it literally murdered the game.
Yea I can think of no good reason why Chase should be playin fuckin Echocrome and yet more DR instead of picking this game up but…here we are. This game (once again) is revolutionary and (ONCE AGAIN) is the benchmark for all games like it. How we’re the only ones that see that shit is beyond me.
I don’t really care about Tekken much either these days mainly because, when I play at Derrick’s the 4:3 TV is not very compatible with the Sixaxis, causing me to miss shit I would never miss. It’s hard enough beating Sluch and Phill when shit is working right.
Anyway…this time through I’m using cheats and I’m finding it’s taking a little of the sting out of the game. Maybe I suck but the first time through the game was HARD but shit is cake now. I think whenever I pick this up again (probably won’t play for awhile after I finish the game this time) for a 3rd play, I"ll again opt for no cheats and try to get 100%.
All sandbox games get boring, there is only so much that the developers can do. What will save this GTA from those in the past will be the DLC that is coming out (hoping that we have SA or VC); more cities, more content.
I know that everything can’t be done in games. But don’t say that it’s going to be in there and for the most part it isn’t. I like how the NPC’s did their jobs in previous installments and had not problem with it. I think this is something that they should have kept under wraps instead of announcing it. Let us notice on hour own that the general public has gotten just a little bit smarter. Instead, they used it to hype the game. Really, my main gripe is that they took away instead of adding more. Some one mentioned the back pack earlier. I FUCKING LOVED THAT THING!!! You can’t go horse shoe hunting without it.
As for the dating thing, I think they just dropped the cut scense because most people skipped them. One other thing I don’t like that I forgot to mention. The 3 hours that pass while your in the pay inspray. It adds to realism yes, but I liked it simple because you want to get in and get out.
In VC and SA, you spent a lot of time doing boat missions and missions that raised you to 6 stars. I’ve done like one boat mission and I haven’t had a mission that filled up the stars. Also, what happend to the order of law? It used to go like this.
1,2 and 3 stars were the police and they were more aggresive with each star. 4th Star gets you the swat team who pullued up in the truck, came at you with better weapons and full riot gear. 5 stars gets you the FBI and some helicopters. 6 stars was the motherfucking army!!! Tanks, Derrick OL trucks loaded with soldiers carrying M16’s and helicopters. There was no fucking escape. Now all you have are these NOOSE motherfuckers. And why do they call the FBI to FIB? That has to be the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard. Was rockstar under some kind of lawsuit threat to make those changes?
I’ll admit, I could live without the body composition change thing, the haircuts and the tatoos. But getting proficent with weapons and vehciles could have stayed.
As for the next GTA, I have no idea where it can be held. They’ve pretty much hit up all the really big major cities. They are just going to have to make a completly ficional city this go round that isn’t based on anything.

but to sum up his article, gta4 could actually have done more to simulate this niko’s lifestyle…believe it or not.
I’m about to play the PS3 version. It wont last long is online does not work. Since I’m doing story on 360, no reason to do that part here. Straight into MP.
